Thinking about it, since I haven't seen it in the thread, can anyone confirm or deny if Bayman has his classic orange lifejacket+beret costume in this game? Or hell, just a costume with a beret.

Unfortunately, they said yes to Lei Fang/Kasumi/Helena's loose hair (which I'm not found of), but they said "no" to Bayman's beret. That's a shame. :/

I'll miss that beret, he looked like a 90's soldier.

If that's the case, DOA 4's survival mode is superior, it's much more fun when characters jump in right after. That feels more like a survival mode to me, otherwise it could feel like an ongoing arcade mode in my opinion.

That's not even a quick load screen in survival.. The next character jumps in about two seconds(a second longer than doa4) after the previous character is defeated. Better to call it a quick load.

Wait, you can't choose the stage ? I wanted Survival on Arrival.

Lisa's swimsuit is probably gonna be the hardest to obtain since you'd probably have to fight like 40-50 opponents for a 30% chance. I failed survival/champ three times now..

Pai is unlocked by obtaining titles.

There is no quick load screen in survival.. The next character jumps in about two seconds after the previous character is defeated.
BTW in survival,the higher the difficulty..the more characters you have to fight to unlock the next difficulty.

Hmmm, at least she's got more than Zack. Zack has been shafted only "3 different costumes" 1 pallet swap.

That clown palette swap was just lazy. Pure lazy, it's clear that the game was rushed to some degree. Come on Zack doesn't even have his alien costume. I don't like Zack mind you but it's pretty iconic to him at this point.

Like someone said, I feel like they gave them the ugliest costumes (Hitomi's soccer outfit, Zack's clown color swap) on purpose (not saying all the costumes are ugly, but they wouldn't have made most of them DLC costumes).

Crap, I have so many DLC costumes ideas now...

What they SHOULD do is just get a DLC pack that has all of DOA2U's costumes. Another pack that has all of DOA1 PS1's costumes.

Yeah, but you know that's not gonna happen. It will be "Bikini pack", "school uniform pack", "classic pack" (DOA1-4 classic costumes), "animals pack", "cocktail party pack", "male swimsuits pack", etc.

Just like SC5.

The two costumes I want the most are Ayane's purple bikini from DOA2:U and Hayabusa's DOA Throwback. I'd buy those two regardless what segmented packs they came in

side note: I've seen people with picutres of Kororo in a black bunny suit, but the pre-order from Amazon only gives you Tina, Christie and Ayane. Any news on if other characters than those and Hitomi/Kasumi/LeiFang can get bunny outfits?

So you ALWAYS get to play Tina and Christie in her rare semi-naked things but you have a 30% chance. I can live with that. I thought there was a slight chance of playing against them plus a slight chance of them wearing said costume plus a slight chance of actually getting it. Lisa's case seems a little harder if it's only Survival but now. Can you "farm" them using any character¿ Example: playing Arcade, Time Attack and Survival with Jann Lee to get the sling bikinis for the girls¿

Actually that's wrong Survival Mode plays the same characters jump in after you defeat a character. The only thing I saw was weird that it ends after you defeat 10 characters?

Edit: Good thing survival mode is not like this crap- pretty much an endless arcade mode lol. This is what I thought they changed it to. Once you defeat an opponent it loads to the next fight.

Yeah, I just noticed it now. Thank goodness lol. I was thinking it was going to be live TTT2 survival mode or something which is just a long arcade mode.

So many color swap. Some are really ugly (Lisa blue one, Tina blue one, Zack weird one, Kokoro's black kimono is... okay).

The only one I like are Mila's yellow one (makes sense since she is Spanish, and red/yellow are her colors), Helena's red coat, and Lei Fang's dresses.

I guess we can expect a "VF costumes" pack too.
And a "Christmas" pack.

And a beret for Bayman.
