About the rare swimsuits..
You always get to fight a rare swimsuit character on Solo mode/Legend difficulty but the chances of you actually unlocking the swimsuit is 30%..
I finally got Tina's rare swimsuit after my 9th run through Arcade/Solo/Legend..
Currently grinding for Christie's rare swimsuit in Time Attack/Solo/Legend.
Haven't seen Lisa's rare swimsuit yet but it's probably in Survival/Legend.
It's looks like only a few of the girls have rare swimsuits.

Edit:Forgot to mention that Tina is always the last opponent in arcade and Christie is always the last in time attack.

It looks like only a few DOA's don't get rushed.

Apparently, only Tina, Lisa and Christie have them. Probably because they're the oldest women.
Helena should have had one, I mean, she is the girl with the least costumes (5), that would have been appreciated.

I dont really care for them... Im gonna try to get them but i ll probably wont ever use them i hope they put some more costumes on dlc though... side note so happy that Lei Fang has 8!!! "Feels bad aboud Helena players" lol

Well, sure Lei Fang has 8 costumes, but, she has like 4 colors swaps, so...

But yeah, I agree, more DLC costumes would be appreciated.

Im used to it lol... And the green one is her first, plus its my favorite outfit in the game im not upset at all! (ok i would prefer them sharing the same slot but im happy they are there)

With the poor costume showing this game has, the DLC costumes had better be free or like 80MSP per costume. Making us pay for basic content that should have been in the game would just be lame.
I wouldn't really care to pay of most costumes weren't colour swaps and LOLI'mwearingajacketnow type of deals, but seriously? Characters like Kokoro don't even have a costume in the game that I like, which has never happened before.

While we might get some freebies, I'd expect more paid than unpaid DLC.

Rather disappointed that Zack doesn't have his DJ default costume from DOA4. But then again I'm kind of disappointed that recolours are being used as costume substitutes (again) instead of palette swaps just being an option to change like glasses/hairstyle.

Hopefully they don't try to ride on DoAX bikinis as the sole inspiration for future DLC costumes, or they won't be getting my money. Here's hoping they're reasonably priced, too.

Will it tell you that you unlocked the swimsuit right after the fight or do you have to beat the whole arcade to see the results?

Yeah.
Still have to beat survival/champ..tried it once but the 27th opponent went nuts on me.
I think you have to beat 30 on champ to unlock the higher difficulties in survival.
I'm pretty sure that Lisa is the last opponent on survival/legend.

If that's the case, DOA 4's survival mode is superior, it's much more fun when characters jump in right after. That feels more like a survival mode to me, otherwise it could feel like an ongoing arcade mode in my opinion.

Survival Mode has an end to it and characters don't jump into the ring right after you defeat your last opponent? That sucks...

Hmmm, at least she's got more than Zack. Zack has been shafted only "3 different costumes" 1 pallet swap.
