Whose Fighting Style would you Imitate?

No thanks. I'll take a martial art that's intended to fuck up my opponent, not protect them from serious or fatal injury.

Akira and Nyotengu Wings.

Because flying in the air and falling down with a hard hitting shoulder ram is like a missile hitting the ground. And when I do the knees of justice (3x knees.) I would do it as I fly up the air juggling the person.

I think you mean Aikido>>>> all
Yeah no... Aikido was specifically developed to protect oneself without injuring the opponent. Tai Chi Chuan was made specifically for killing, and it still is, which is why we will never see it in full form in any sport ring. Unlike Aikido, it encompasses everything. If you want an indication of its power... These should do. And no they're not fake.

So many Tai Chi haters...

MMA is considered one of the most well-rounded martial arts, and they're supposed to be good at takedowns and locks and stuff. They focused on that. Why? Because the Tai Chi guy didn't want to go into a full contact fight. You'll probably conclude he's afraid, I'll conclude based on the video that he didn't want to hurt the guy. But hey. Suit yourself.

there was not a single attempt at a take down in that vid it was shoving match which the tai chi guy won. no i dont think he was afraid both were holding back, one had superior technique yes but the other barley showed any technique of his representative style in other words guy who doesnt know what the hell hes doing vs trained tai chi user

Oh God, here is comes again.

There are so few documented instances where two combatants of equal, skill, build, mindset and approach faced each in a fight with the intent to kill using two different martial arts and the victor was decided by the one who practiced the "superior" martial art. So few, in fact, I'm willing to guess the number is somewhere around 0.

In light of that, tough luck trying to prove that your favorite martial art is the best, most efficient, coolest, jizzworthy shit on the Earth.

i didn't have an issue with the other video it wasn't claiming to be fight
Right. Tell me. What's the difference between a Judo fight, and what you saw in the Tai Chi vs MMA video? Oh right. Nothing.

People forget there's a difference between martial arts and fighting sports. Martial arts in their original war form will always be superior to fighting sports in terms of effectiveness and deadliness.

Primitive barbarians just rushed at each other and flung their arms around wildly. That was a war form, and it's still an inferior approach to many modern "sporting arts."

But this whole discussion, while hilarious, is off-topic, so back to the the subject matter, everyone.

Kasumi's... She never lost a fight... Well realistically I'd go with Sarah's generic Martial Arts also used by Lee, Law, and the assassin sisters in Tekken, or Kokoro's Baji Quan. No one in DOA uses Ba Gua
