Why is Lisa white now?

lol Lisa is still black. They lightened her up so you can see the light and shadow effects better.

And for the record, Rainbow Mika is Russian.

It's not just Japan. All of Asia has an obession with whiteness. Everywhere from Korea to India you see girls doing all kinds of bleaching and other treatments to get their skin as white as possible.

What about Gangaru Girls?

Okay? Who is Houston?

Houston is an android from the future. She stars in the Vigilante 8 series. The model I posted was of her 2nd Offense look.

Thats scary. Wouldnt it be hotter wearing that than just wearing a bathing suit. And you lose the luxury of enjoying the water, the sand, the environment.
Yea, you know its hot as balls under those suits. I really don't understand why they even bother going to the beach, the one place where it's impossible to avoid the sun.

That's said all of Asia does that. They hate Americans, but want to be Americans so bad.
There's so much wrong with this. First of all, wanting to be white is not wanting to be american. There are a lot more countries than just America that has white people. That's like saying you want to be arabic just because you went to get a tan.

Second, no one really hates us like you think. But I am sure they don't want to be us.

What about Gangaru Girls?
Those girls are just... freaky. Like a bunch of asian Nikki Minajs (who I can't stand by the way)

Sorry...I overlook that.

Edit: any proof of no one really hating us.

No worries. It's pretty easy to get American-centric views from entertainment/media etc.. I was like that until I got to travel around.

I think back to the lighter skin debate though, and it's hard to argue for dark skin when even the black community has the whole light-skinned/dark-skinned debate. Don't even get me started on that...

They even invented this thing called a face-kini for people who want to go to the beach, but don't want any kind of tan

lol you can't prove something like that doesn't exist. It's biggotry to think a whole country/continent/world hates the U.S. when every individual as an individual opinion. I live in Northern Japan and the Japanese up here love us, we're very much integrated into society, and anywhere I go, its rather obvious I'm American, and I'm greeted with open arms. Every single country I've hit port in, there are usually American flags strewn around saying "Welcome U.S. Navy!" Not to mention, I get bitches without even trying. Also, proof that the Japanese want to be American, Ken Masters.

Not a stupid topic. This is one of the more serious topics in gaming because its all about representation. I'm an
old-school gamer and its no secret that Japanese games have been and continue to be steretypical towards their ethnic characters. Ethnic gamers simply want to be represented correctly like their Asian and European counterparts. This doesnt represent the Japanese culture as whole (of course not), espcially seeing how the current generation has embraced Hip Hop and other non-Japanese culture. It's just the Japanese game developers have not caught up to the rest of the world, and its definitely their choice not to do so.

Gamers want to be represented despite developer bias. Mr. T is old, drop the black mohawked, bad attitude characters. Drop the Mike Tyson bit, African Americans do more than box. Put a little more apple in the bottom of the ethinic female characters, a lil more curl to that hair (even if its a flat tecture drawn on, and yes we know straight hair is easier to model). If Zack is American then remove the Japanese comic side of him and use American comedy. Eddy from Tekken remains the only decently represented ethnic character from a Japanese/Asian game. It's a Japanese game, we get that. They cater to Japanese gamers, we get that too. People just want to be represented well in any product or medium, and that will always hold true for those of us who have been in the minority side of this issue.

We'll take the final product and enjoy games as we always have, but we'll keep making noise until we can fully enjoy an immersed experience like everyone else. Check out those Helena fans, they might get some tweaks because they've been making some noise.

Anyway, I'm new to the forum so hello fellow gamers. Zack is my main, Tina for the tag, and Lisa for second main. Love the likes of Hitomi, Lei Fang, Helena, and always on a mission to beat the ninjas, ha! And yea I have every console DOA game, including the DOAX games and the Japanese import of DOA 2 for Dreamcast (since it had more tag moves and costumes that were taken out of the American version!).

Oh no!!!! >_< Not again with the lisa's race stuff... We all know lisa is american now let me make a short list of why she is most likely African American.

1. America is full of many cultures and is suuuuuper diverse (increases possibilities of mixed race)
2. Most African americans aren't just african, but a mixture of many different races
3. Lisa could very well have brazilian, or mexican in addition to african ,but in America it doesnt matter, on your birth certification it says "African American"
4. We all know lucha libre is only a fighting style so ANYONE could be a luchadora.
5. well you can tell what I am by my name, but just like almost every black person i have european, and native american in my blood aswell, but if you saw me on the street most ppl. will think, "oh look it's a black guy"

TBH the whole title of being an African-American/black person is very complicated, heck being an American in general is complicated lol. So with all of this said i think lisa is "black".

I'm just letting you know now, everything you said was your Opinion, and has nothing to do with what Lisa really is.
I think this is why Lisa is Low tier, people focus more on her skin color than her gameplay lol.
a lot of people only play her because of her skin color which is.. lolz

As I said before until we have proof, everything is theoretical.

Well. Easy. DOA5 takes plays at least two years after DOA4. That's why her skin color changed.

My logic is undeniable.

Let me go line by line.

1. True
2.Very true. I'm 12% Native american broski and 1% white.
3.She is either Black Brazilian( Like Sean from 3rd Strike) or African American, but she is black either way.
4. That is true some WWE superstars have done work in Mexico before. Jeff Jarrett, Carlito,Zema ion(LOL. He's from TNA/IW, but he counts too.), and Lilta too.(She has a luchadora background.)
5. True dat.
