I'm gonna definitely need to try the arcana, I saw a bonus for it in the velvet room but I'm still not used to it completely, for now I just use it to make more powerful personas but when I have free time after this palace I'll experiment more with it to see how it worksWhoops, edited my post to fix that. Turns out it was Mishima. P5 basically rubs Confidants upon you even though it's optional to make these links with people. You don't have to link with X or Y characters, but if you want the game to be naturally smooth for certain difficulties you might as well do them due to the benefits they provide.
@KasumiLover69 There were extra turns in the other ones too. P5 still happens to be the game where they strip some of the old stuff and place them into Confidants for you to earn them. Before you gained more EXP based on the shuffle mechanic cards after battles, since that's gone, the better way to gain more EXP now is off the arcana and finding a good spot that gives you the most.
There's also chests I need to unlock too but I never have picks around and whenever I want to make one morgana always going on about how it's too late to make one lol. I try to stay in the palaces as long as I can and get as far as possible so that's probably a fault on my part, the exploration aspect just sucks me in and I keep going, had to restart a part tho since when all but two of my party members died and when I tried to heal the joker and fox I used the wrong item and got max SP....yep, I was dead but now I'm going in stronger and wiser
