Poor Marie Rose, she just gets beaten on like no tomorrow. I think I'm yet to see a video where Marie Rose proves to be a challenge. So I'm kinda questioning her ability. However, it could just be lack of experience with the game. Still, would like to see something high level in regards to her.

Ryu seemingly destroys her everytime I see the match up.... =\

Watching these arcade matches is pre-mature "theory fighter" at best. Any conclusions constructed at this point in time are nothing more than wild speculation. Solid impressions can't be made until the rest of us have gotten our hands on her and had time to experiment and figure her out in practice mode.

I mention the "rest of us" because DOA is one of the games (the others being Soul Calibur V, Marvel, etc.) where I have not gotten the impression that Japan is on a much higher tier than everyone else skillwise, so region based play-styles will factor in very greatly. Even then, one country's impression of a character doesn't quite define the character through and through.

I kinda hope Tara Strong does her VA. I can imagine her using a Juliet Starling ( Lollipop Chainsaw ) like voice for her character... it would tempt me into using the English voices... since I'm pretty in love with every voice Tara Strong manages to do.

Juliet Starling from LPC, Raven from Teen Titans, Bubbles from PPG ( this would admittedly be hilarious if she were to use Bubbles as a go to for Marie Rose. ) Harley Quinn from Injustice etc. She's done some amazing things! =]

Then play it in Japanese lol? I prefer the Japanese voices in DOA too atm, but if Tara Strong ends up doing Marie's VA- I might switch to English solely for her.

I think this will be the last Marie video I openly post in a thread that isn't the video thread hahaha, I don't want to flood anyone. I'll just edit them into the video thread and let other people post them around. Not sure if people wanna see these all the time, so yeah! n_n anyway enjoy I guess.

Marie Rose gameplay is seeming less rare now for some reason, which isn't a bad thing. But it's less reason to spam them everywhere.

Obviously their grabs aren't completely in relation, he was just the character i could most familiarise SOME of Marie's throws with (cause majority of her throws are unique) as SOME involve a limb breaking action, and the fact she has a OH from her rolling stance - just like Bayman, and even Christie

... They seem to do good damage too, especially on high counter from what i've seen.

Also, something that just came to mind..., "doesn't remind me of anyone in DOA"... really?
Despite the fact she has an exact copy of Hayate's 66T?
