The argument over the characters variations being 1/3 of their moveset is false. They still keep their Special moves, the ONLY difference being that the Variations add a unique twist to each.

Yeah this announcement wasn't surprising at all. The reveal was pretty weak. However good Raiden got in but it was really obvious it would be him.

I think the announcement was less about Raiden and more about showing off character variations, what Raiden can do in MKX vs MK9. Each variation is very unique.

Don't give a fuck about variations or mechanics its still gonna be the same gameplay as mk9 and injustice. Whatever new mechanics they introduce will be welcome but ultimately negligible, like environment hazards in injustice.

Show us the roster! Show me Nitara!

The vast majority of MK players buy it because they have fun mashing and it's violent. The announcement was all about Raiden himself, not just to show off the variations that most buyers won't really care about.

It's like I said before, Raiden was going to come back either way. It was just a matter of when he was going to be announced. He's too popular of a character in the series to just leave out. I do agree that a character either new or least expected from other MK games should have been announced instead of him. I was just hyped that he was in fact confirmed in MKX but should have just been released with Scorpion & Sub-Zero. The variation thing is for people to decide their style of play that they prefer to play the characters.

Let's not get off topic please. Opinions are opinions in the thread. It's not like Radiance didn't say that Raiden shouldn't be in the game posts before this (to be fair) or don't want ninjas in the game. It's not like CFW didn't say that they're getting the boring characters out of the way 1st. It's not like people don't want Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate, & Hayabusa dead & out of the DOA series completely. It's not like people don't want Ken, Ryu, Chun Li, Cammy, Sakura, & other shotos (besides Ken & Ryu) to die in a fire & out of SF. It was just an opinion. So please don't derail the thread again. I'm asking kindly. No need for arguing. It's not that serious. Stop please.
