let's make a japan psn account in case the game going digital copy:)

Or we should just keep requesting TN on twitter and facebook and then when they see how many fans want the game, they'll hopefully grow some balls and release it outside of Japan too.

DOAX is a spin-off game. It's not to be taken seriously. Only a jackass white knight would rate the whole series as bad just because of pole dancing animation in a spin-off game that basically based on beach and adult entertainment paradise and pretty much aimed at mature audiences.

My previous point wasn't about pole dancing. It was about how creepy "private part shot" on child-looking character. Which thank god even though previous DOAX had pole dancing animation and free perspective view, the characters were actually adult-looking and the default view wasn't purposely aiming at private areas like how SK and Bullet Girls did.
It has nothing to do with white knights. Its that its fucking creepy because its something they'd never do. Just saying "spinoff" isnt some bandaid that excuses it.

I believe in rewarding effort. Adding more cast members when the cast has been entirely female-dominated shows equal opportunity sexiness, which is an improvement of just having the girls used for sex. I'll at least buy it even if I never play it because it'll show that they're doing something good.
I'm sorry but this "equal opportunity sexiness" thing you're talking about is more politically correct nonsense than reality. Most women would prefer to look at a pretty girl in skimpy clothing than a dude in his underwear. The female sex drive is a complicated thing. So when you're talking about something like DOAX3 or swimsuit DLC, it makes total sense to focus exclusively on the girls. Most men AND women would prefer men to look cool in a commando outfit or tuxedo than in underwear or swimwear.

As other people have mentioned, I strongly suspect that the reason they're reluctant to release DOAX3 in the West is the inevitable ridicule and backlash by stupid, self-righteous fat-ass social justice warriors on Twitter. For some totally fucked up reason, the DOA series causes more hand-wringing and finger-pointing than the MK series, which is truly appalling. For me, that's a big part of what's wrong with American culture these days - a tolerance (and maybe more) for extreme violence but a puritanical obsession with censoring nudity and sexuality.

I have to apologize to Team Ninja, I guess. A few weeks ago I was kinda rash accusing them of sweeping the contest/the submissions under the carpet, not fully appreciating the participants and their designs. I think, it was very nice, to do this little award ceremony during the DOA Festival. :) Even better, one of our own, Kodachi, got an award...among 1800 other designs! O: Kodachi must have had a heart attack! XD

Meanwhile, Europe, Japan and a whole bunch of other first world countries continue to laugh at us for this and how we acted as if us allowing Gay Marriage suddenly matters....

And I say this as an American, I'm honestly embarrassed for my country more times than I can admit.

Don't speak for all females. Don't speak for all males. What sells more is a poor excuse at this point. And no it's not nonsense. Are you androphilic?
Where are you basing these claims? Like, what's your documentation? The logical fallacies are tremendous. I'll be kind and just say your message commits anecdotal fallacy. What hard science is behind this? There's just so much wrong with this message; like WHY? I've encountered so many "social justice warrior" slams by this community. It's so disappointing to see members of this community immaturely misrepresenting, belittling or completely fabricating what YOU see as a "feminist commentator" or as you put it a "self-righteous fat-ass social justice warrior." Is this community sucked into gamergate BS? The amount of complaints about SJWs that I've seen throughout this forum is staggering.

Who said anything about censorship? Anita Sarkeesian (if this is who you all are constantly referring to when you say SJW) wanted the game industry to be more inclusive, not censored, if anyone on this forum have watched her videos? I mean like watched objectively, to her and Martha Nussbaum's perspective. Like, not watched to try and ambush because of the psychological dissonance. But why is she or other SJWs so relevent? Who's said anything? And how is commentating on a ridiculous game spin-off like DOAX not warranted? This SJW police is BS. And so off-putting. So what if I have problems with DOAX3 and I may even find the game sexist but that doesn't mean I'm an SJW and it doesn't mean I don't have a comprehensive knowledge of sexuality. But that's neither here nor there. Maybe I'm in the wrong community. The anti-"SJW" crap is getting lame. But I'm not gonna hijack this thread about DLC. I'll just click ignore and I encourage others to do the same to me rather than respond. Just know it looks absolutely ridiculous to anyone with a brain to see people rampaging on a phrase like "social justice warrior" - even if it's seen as a parody - or misrepresenting the discourse surrounding videogames. It doesn't make your argument stronger to weaken the side you don't agree with. It just makes people frustrated.

Well DOAX3 is happening so fans shouldn't care about whether haters like it or not.

Its just how TN considering DOAX3 a Japan/Asia only game that makes me and many others upset.

And I honestly don't know who is worse on the matter, entitled anti-xtreme fans who bitch and moan about a game they aren't forced to play/follow or Team Ninja for being pussies and worrying more about backlash from haters and less about cattering to actual fans.
