It was mentioned that this year marks DOA's 20th anniversary, I wonder if there will be any surprise(s) that has to do with any of the older games?

Why stop with just those 2? Why not a compilation of EVERY major release of the game from the original arcade version all the way to 4 (modified to remove Nicole, obviously) and even dimensions.
Maybe they're planning on releasing dimensions' chronicle mode over to last round?

Maybe DOA5 gets a graphic-update and they will bring back footprints and reflections + some of the fan favorite old stages. Maybe the "Stairs-Grab-Feature" comes back. DoA2 did have more versions until DoA2 Ultimate was made. It was the best and biggest DoA (content wise) we had. I could see a "final final" version of DoA5. =)
But to be serious - what could "surprise" us? Well, I would be REALLY surprised, if there was an announcement of DOA5 vs VF. Yeah. I wouldn't expect that. Or a Dissidia character, since TN is working on it.
I would welcome DOA3's Omega / Genra and the Miyama stage in all the past variations it had.

Sucks it seems they're "considering" adding new content to X3 which is only 2 months old (meanwhile 5 is going on 4 years since vanilla release).
I really hope the big surprise is not a new character. It's obvious they're only going to add females with the fetish/swimsuit packs and although Naotora was the exception and has a unique moveset the lack of variety in the recent fighters is getting old especially appearance.

Or - to please the fans, TN is going to create a Season Pass, only based on fan-designs. Would be nice, but this is also wishful thinking and I guess, not "big" enough for such an announcement.
Well, I guess we have to wait until July. TN really saved all their information last year. Nearly no leaks or previews.

It sucks even more that the game doesn't have the full cast. Personally, if they're considering adding the rest of the girls as dlc, I'll finnally go ahead any buy it (and a ps4).

Willing to bet it's not DOA6. I've told some of you countless times yet you choose to do a fusion with the wall. Typical. If it is, that would be such a rushed game at this time and year as well as the following years. Keep asking for DOA6 and they will bring it, keep asking for DOA6 and your complaints will be no different from DOA5 complaints. (I like surprises though, especially hilarious ones.)
