What makes you think they dont have plans to celebrate the 20th? They haven't announced anything for november so for all we know, they have a big surprise for us then. Granted, anything they have planned will likely disappoint but they may still have something, maybe something released for free.

As a company - why wouldn't I use an event with a worldwide livestream to make such kind of announcements (even with all the teasing I mentioned before) and will suddenly pop up with those things month later?

Well, with Mai in stock for this year (which was the big surprise in my opinion) I really have doubts we can expect another "big surprise". Let's see, if there's something else later this year...

Once the next season pass releases next month, we'll have a good idea of what they have planned; if the pass has something for november, then we know they will charge for something and it will only be a matter of time before the details leak and we know for sure. If they don't have anything listed for that month, then they definitely have something planned that's either free or something else entirely otherwise.

Either way, why would they skip a month for dlc? especially when that month takes place on the series 20th? A free legacy costume pack seems very likely if this is the case.

Im only buying 4 halloween costumes but im still curious about what everybody else will get. Hopefully no more corny cliche costumes like witches or werewolves.

TN/KT should take notes from saints row 3 and 4's suits/outfits. They had gimp suits, mocap suits, Han solo's costume(and gun), a wild west bounty hunter outfit, a gi that looked like kim's from kof...

If they are making the KOF pack full roster, here are some of my predictions: (Going off KOFXIV designs)
Eliot as Kensou,
Mila as Alice,
Nyotengu as Luong,
Ein as K '
Hitomi as Yuri,
Rachel as Mature,
Momiji as Vice,
Christie as King or Angel,
Honoka as Athena,
Marie Rose as Kula Diamond,
Gen Fu as Tung Fu Rue
I don't know, it seems TN is aiming for the classic KOF (98-00) because why featured the characters that is not in the KOF XIV roster on the mash up teaser image (Kasumi Todo and Hinako) and as for the newcomers appearing as mashups highly unlikely. I Might be wrong, but when you realize that you only see Yuri, Kasumi, and Hinako appearance in the image teaser is because they were part of the 2000 women's team which mai was also apart of and the leader thus my hypophysis on why not seeing any xiv characters appearing in the mashup. I think gen fu is going to chin gensai because even though tung fu did appeared in KOFXI console Ver but he was guest character for NGBC.

Classic beats current imo, I hope they go far back for a sort of throwback feel. If they do use current KOFXIV characters costumes for other fighters I wouldn't mind.

Oh, well i'm not that familiar with other KOF games xD
It's cool which is why I'm glad Team Ninja is adding guest characters from other 3D and now 2D fighters that were underrated and had little attention or been under the radar in the FGC. It is definitely a gateway to expend players' horizon to discover and try some different series other developers that were around for years, but some reason never had a higher hype and audience as Capcom or Namco does with their fighting game franchise.

I guess, the yet not revealed november DLC could be the "Design Award 2016" pack. Remember - we got 2 fan based DLC packs last year. This time, they could bring a big pack for all characters.

But this could be too close to the Halloween DLC pack, that is coming out just one month earlier...The Design Award 2015 DLC pack came out in december. Well, just speculation...

Where you get that really pathetic comment from? GameFAQs? And of course it would be a SFV fan bitching about another game actually having good news.

Guess you need SOMETHING to do when for any good thing that happens, the company ends up fucking up 2-3 times at the same time.
