Third thought; if the halloween pack will have 35 costumes as opposed to 36, that means either Mai or alpha wont get one.

Well think about it for a sec. Mai was announced after the contest and got no entries. Why would she be in this?

If by some weird decision TN decided to disregard all of Alpha's entries to give Mai the mummy outfit, as someone who submitted something for Alpha, I'd be friggin pissed

I just noticed i sound way more negative and pissed in my last post than i really am. Because i'm not pissed, i just think it is a bad dlc pack overall

Anyways, is not like they had only one entry for each character, they had more than enough entries to make costumes for every single character, including mai or alpha, is weird that one character is going be missing this though. And they even stated that they would use a design meant for a character in another if they wanted so.

I honestly doubt they would release Mai without a bunch of dlc costumes for her, but maybe they don't have the permission to do much with her?

Of course, the missing character could be alpha for the reason that there isn't much you can do with her, but this is a poor excuse.

Yes but both characters got something, they didn't boot Kasumi out of the pack they just gave her Ayane's terrible succubus outfit in an angel form. iirc Bayman got an outfit made for Rig that looks completely unfitting on him for halloween 2014 and Rig wasn't booted out of the pack either. I don't think they'd boot Alpha out after putting her in the halloween pack last year no matter how lazy that unicorn outfit was (they even forgot to put in hair collision physics on that one so her hair clips right through her body at all times)

The VF characters did get a few dlc costumes back in ultimate and all of them did get featured in some themes that gave everyone costumes (the ninja packs and valentine's day packs) but ya, the most they got outside those were bikinis for Sarah and Pai. Mai will most likely get at least one swimsuit besides a few alts but as far as additional themes, I doubt shell get anything. got some theme costumes besides her alternates but shes owned by KT so shes an exception.

A. I didn't expect SP5 to go all the way until December(November being only 17 costumes is shitty... we can probably rule out a 20th anniversary set then) this one actually might be worth the price 5 costume packs plus a character.

B. I... uh... I k-kind of like the flower bikinis... they're so expensive though x.x

The fact that theyre keeping the november pack secret clearly means this is the anniversary thing they have planned. Its probably going to disappoint then...

And I they had me with lady teacher Nyo, it seems that the last season pass was totally worth the $92 and overall the best imo, other than the newcomers bundle and Ayane Miyama ageha TN gives you fanservice costumes from other video games and destructable anime with a stage. Season 5 however, only 11 KoF costumes and some crappy flower costumes? Seriously TN what the shit?!

The Flower Bikini bundle seems to be lower. Around USD20 for 17 costumes, while each would cost you USD3.

And yes, KOF will have 11 costumes, the description says. You can start guessing who are who from the Girl Fighter Team. I forgot how many characters included in that team.

Last SP was the worst imo, costumes for characters I don't use, lazy SP exclusive, and a bunch of costumes from animes ive never heard of/dont care about. Oh and a stage almost nobody liked except people that had characters that do damage on it xD

The new one is atleast passable, 5 costume packs, sexy teacher nyo and Mai? Plus Halloween the Halloween sets are (usually) pretty good.

Watched the trailer, that was also their laziest trailer in quite a while. I don't think they care about this pack and it was just filler to give them time to work on the future stuff while not leaving a month gap.

Well, if it was an anniversary pack, why would TN leave the men out? I would expect that all the classic characters would get an outfit. Otherwise, they could give all the girls the "I'm A Fighter" outfits, that were given out at DoA Festival 2016. But would you be satisfied with it?
