Not sure what happened with Keisuke Banno. You also have to remember (you could also ask Airgear too and he'll tell you) that you could get in trouble recording with phones in there. You have to sneak your phone in. However that shouldn't be a big big issue seeing as Mai is already out locally, I take it there are some players in there that are not using her (like casuals there) and the other side where they are but people are watching the Mai players and small crowd checking her to not pull stuff.

Anything could happen at this point, I'm positively sure someone would get that phone recording somehow. It shouldn't be impossible.

The way I see it well eventually see her in an actual stream from either acho, kohatsu or some of the other arcades. I would prefer it that way because those usually involve long sessions and multiple people playing the same character.

They can be canceled into, the combo video pretty much shows Ryuenbu can be cancelled and I think Kachousen can be canceled into just as easily. As I remember looking at that fan translation, they mentioned 4 moves that can be canceled into easily.

The combo video only showed us that 3P has Ryuenbu and her Cartwheel as string follow ups, 3PP and 3PK. Mai didn't cancel anything into Ryuenbu in the combo trailer.

Yeah, but we didn't see anything cancel into 214P or 236P. I rather just see that happen than assume because the ideas I have right now, I'm hoping they'll work out.

Because Naotora was just plain released to Arcades, Mai is have Location Tests, which are radically different.

No wonder she has many issues now, they didn't even properly test her, they just streamed her and released her smack like that. XD I think the Mai location tests are gonna help determine what gets buffed and nerfed before release so this is actually a good thing.

Considering a KOF game just came out, TN probably can't release anything so as not to draw attention away from that game, especially since people say she looks better in doa than in her home games.

How soon? within the next week or week after?

It seems way too early for next week since we only just got some footage of her last week but I dont really mind; when it comes to dlc characters, releasing earlier than usual is fine by me. Hopefully I can fix up my payment option so I can actually buy her and * when she does come out.

*maybe, I got to try her out for free last week and didnt really like her but I am considering buying her just to have a complete cast.

I thought release date was announced by Famitsu, but it wasn't... I think they say they will talk about Mai in DOA5LR on their next magazine out on september 15th... Oh, well.

The only reason why people even dropped her is because they say she's linear when she's not all mid kicks and highs, she has mid punches too and a certain way she is supposed to play, but hey let them drop her.

I still think Mai will have a catch tho. I'll just have to see what it is, although I'm still optimistic since she is a zoner/spacer type character which is my preferred play style.
