Friendly reminder that this 24th/27th we'll be seeing KH 2.8 and Tales of Berseria!

I like that in 0.2 Birth By Sleep you can recolour Aquas dress, thats a cool touch.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release March 21. in the US and March 23. in EU.

Here's some new gameplay:

I never played a Mass Effect, how open and explorable are these planets that you are visiting?

For anyone who's never tried Dragon Quest I recommend playing the Heroes title for PS4:

The game was amazing...Jessica(The one with the whip and pigtails) was my favorite character next to the main hero and the blonde Aurora, Yangus, Terry, and of course my OG girl Maya♡♡♡ I love her dialogue and attitude:

Her dialogue and presentation...I love her, she's such a shallow bitch! ♡o♡ Plus she has the longest hair behind Psaro...ugh, I have to unlock him by doing a difficult boss battle quest -_- It'll be worth it tho, long manes are a necessity for me!

EDIT: I UNLOCKED HIM!!☆☆☆

One more of my second favorite Jessica, this is my favorite screenshot I took of her:

I'm so excited for the next title, the two protagonists look even better than the original ones:

Okay I don't really know how the new game will be but they've said they are making the planets more open, However in the games now there's not a massive amount of exploration and it's mainly set in a restricted area with hub worlds in the way of multiple cities on Alien planets. You definitely won't be exploring whole planets... in fact you'll probably never have access to more than a military base on it on certain missions, The settings are nice though and the amount of lore on the creatures, characters and worlds is very interesting. DA especially DA:I did a really good job of adding open worlds to their series though ME hasn't implemented that yet. I don't know if you've seen images of the hub cities but my favorite might just be Omega, It's a city built into an asteroid -

Yeah, exploring in the ME games is pretty limited and often times very linear. The games are easily at their best when it comes to story and story branches beacuse you get several options when making decisions that will affect how things turn out later on.

That's BioWare in general.

Meh... its the same demo I played months ago, besides theres only like 2 weeks until the actual game.

Well, for me it's great since I didn't play the demo and I don't plan to buy the game blind, not a modern Tales game, lol. As we've discussed here and in other threads their quality has significantly gone down the drain since Vesperia.

I'll say....my sister bought and played Xillia while I watched and the story was very underwhelming. She also got the sequel but I read a summary online and I didn't even watch her play THAT XD Even Symphonia: Dawn of the new world was bad story wise. I guarantee you that if it wasn't for the fact that the scenes ran so smoothly with motion capture, the boss battle theme "Beat ones way" being real awesome, and the fact that Marta, Emil, Alice and Collette were super cute and fun to watch, I wouldn't have watched my sister play at all.

Theres nothing wrong with Berseria lol even long time fans are saying its one of the best Tales in years.

Xillia wasnt that bad... it just requires you to play both chsracters to get the whole story, for example you miss out on like 1/3 of the game if you play Milla because of story reasons.

Did we miss any of of the story?? My sister played Jude because we didn't know how it'd affect anything, we didn't know exactly if it affects storyline but I may have to tell her if it does!

A few things. Milla has more direct involvement in the story, so some revelations come earlier on her side than Jude's. In particular,
Milla learns about Alvin being a spy early on, when she overhears him threatening Jude's father. The fact that Elize can't use magic without Teepo is brought up earlier, too, and you get to see the events that resulted in Milla's paralysis, as opposed to Jude just finding her lifeless body on the floor. Her side also shows exactly what happened to her between her death and resurrection, and has a different second-to-last boss fight.

On a less spoilery note, Milla's side also goes a bit more in-depth into the personalities of the Great Spirits and their interactions. Milla wasn't kidding when she compared them to bickering in-laws.

So what are the advantages of playing Jude's story then?

I played the Berseria demo...and it is the same old, same old. :/ Just that back in Symphonia or Vesperia everything didn't feel as generic and careless.
Lol, I swear they are using the same elevator music playing in the background for a decade now.

Jude is more tied to the characters. He interacts with them more than the often standoffish Milla, and is more responsible for a lot of the characters' individual arcs closing. He's also witness to a number of events that Milla was absent for.

For example, after Milla dies, Alvin goes berserk from the realization that her death didn't actually let him go home like he thought it would, and he let her die for nothing. In desperation, he makes a deal with another spirit for her to take him home if he hunts down the rest of the party. The group also goes up against two of the main antagonists once again, who fall to their deaths after the encounter.

Since Milla's dead through all of this, you only get very small glimpses of what's happening from the spirit realm.

I will say, if you were put off by Graces and Zestiria, I definitely recommend Xillia and Xillia 2. Xillia is a lot closer in tone to the pre-Vesperia games, and while it doesn't do much that's new for the series at all, it does a really good job of playing with what the series has already done in different ways. Xillia 2, while it consists mostly of recycled assets, expands greatly on the lore established in Xillia, and does great portraying the characters dealing with the consequences of their decisions in the first game.
