I think 6 will be very interesting by having multiple villains (Phase, Christie, NiCO, Raidou, Rig and Nyotengu). People don’t have to like Raidou but don’t act like he’s this character that has no business being here, when he’s more relevant to the game than some of the basic bitches in the roster with their bland ass personalities.

I have no issue with Raidou myself but he'll probably be cut if there is a DOA7 since the ESRB does confirm that he'll be cut in half by a ninja character.

How so? Based on the beta alone it plays nothing like 5.

How it plays is only a percentage. The game itself needs an aesthetic and marketing overhaul.
If we didnt get a beta, a lot of us would assume it plays similar to 5 just by looking at it and that's because its built aesthetically on Last Round to the point where half the costumes and stages are just dragged and dropped in.

Also the games marketing is mostly centered around weather we'll have boob physics or not. I literally dont think theres been an interview where they havent asked about boobs or censorship.

Since TN seems to desire a story mode, something that is somewhat scares in fighting games nowadays, a reboot focusing mainly re-telling the story (similar to SC6 and MK) would probably do the series justice all around.

Like we shouldn't be here complaining about Raidou being included when we pretty much already knew, but theres little to no excitement to WHY he's included.

Anyways. Thats just what I believe. DoA has potential, but theres something about the way that's being handled that's just...bleh and I don't want to discredit anyone on the team who is trying their hardest. Maybe it needs a bigger budget, idk.

Not once has any of the marketing centered around that aspect. TN has held onto the the "we are fighters" marketing and has even changed default costumes to push the marketing narrative of a fighter. A small subset of the community, most of which are not even fans of the series and were just part of that twitter community of SJW/Anti-SJW crap complained about the lack of "physics"

They already did that years ago. It was called Dead or Alive Dimensions.

Does it really matter? He's the final spot, end of story. We all know there will be DLC characters later and clearly he has a role in the story and they have said up front that the roster decision was entirely set on the story.

My problem with a lot of stages is - why the hell are there like only 2-3 people copy pasted over and over again in the background?? Even the colors are the same? Why that? :/ That bothered me in DOA5 and I was expecting better for DOA6.

Because they Copy Paste ! And thats my Opion from what i see this Game is going through again . There are many Facts come out right now i dont like .
Im a big big Fan of the Series .

But again :
-Hair Loose Thing(after Power Blow) is bothering me .
-No Option to choose different Costumes before playing through Story Mode .
-The Recolors of the Costumes have ther own Slot. Instead of have the Original to choose and then switch to Sides to choose the Recolors.
-Clothing Animation of the Guys is not the same as for the Girls.
- And the Hair Mess overall - looks definitly not good enough for me .They did it better with DoA 4

I WAS a Gen Fu hater. I don’t gotta hate somebody who ain’t in the game , I don’t see how it is a “phony” reason to bring him back as a Cyborg. I’d rather have him back than another Kasumi clone.

Um, no they haven't. Hell, that was part of the reason why you had people fall onto this ridiculous clickbait trap where they believe journalists well before the creators and then tune them out completely.
And the second is not the fault of TN or Shimbori when this question was asked BY EVERY FUCKING JOURNALIST FOR EVERY OTHER FUCKING GAME(I remember this question from Soul Calibur to many, many other games in just one year). People should realize by now that gaming journalists are hacks so they ask questions like these because god knows they actually know to play the games they are reviewing.

Um Dead or Alive Dimensions... it's a thing, it's possibly the reason why Marie Rose is even Swedish since the game got banned in that area as a guy protesting how ridiculous their lolicon ban was tried to point out how dumb it was got Nintendo to pull it out of Sweden.

Um... how? Because the 5-10 Momiji fans crying constantly that she isn't in the game? I mean even Leon and Gen Fu fans have more to complain about by comparison as Raidou actually has a reason to be back, especially since Donovan wants to create the perfect super soldier and if you think that Raidou's ability to copy anything he sees perfectly isn't vital to that, you are insane. Especially since he has ties to the Ninjas and to DOATech for crying out loud.

I hope Raidou gets more costumes this time around. His fan designs looked really good. I hope they took some inspiration from those costumes. The bar is quite low for the story but DOA’s story haven’t really developed yet imo.

I mean I'm a fan of Kasumi, a big fan of hers... and I don't want more of her clones either, I do not want this to become Street Fighter where we have multiple character aping movesets off Kasumi with only minor differences in aesthetics and hitboxes.
