Dude, I feel the exact same way about Ayane in Razor's Edge XD
As for Yaiba, I'm actually excited for the game and itching to see how the story will unfold. With Keiji Inafune in charge of development, there's very little room for disappointment. Razor's Edge, however, I'm not gonna get too excited about it just yet. I know it'll be 10 times better than the original, but it's best to remain cautious after seeing how much they butchered that game.

I've spent countless hours playing Ayane in Sigma 2 and Warriors Orochi 3.. I'll wait for some reviews of RE before I spend $300+ to play as her in an otherwise mediocre game. God, why the hell did they add her in that damn game..

know right? Seeing Ryu and Ayane playable in Warriors Orochi 3 was more than enough to tempt me into keeping interest in getting it. But the cash I have now is being saved for none other than Ken's Rage 2 and my beloved Anarchy Reigns (Max Anarchy) for now.
RE being exclusive only to the WiiU is such a huuuuuge middle finger to the fans, even if the blatant trolling isn't a new thing. I'll most likely end up getting the WiiU anyway since it's getting Bayonetta 2. And I know for a fact No More Heroes 3 is happening for that system as an exclusive title. I may as well get it since my undying Suda51 fanboyism will lure me into buying any game he develops.
I'm actually too strong here, but yeah. Same level run back-to-back, first with my insanely powerful Hayabusa that one shots everyone including generals and then without him so you can see what happens when you first meet him in the story; the cutscene won't play if he's in your group. I do end up using all of his moveset throughout the playthrough, but everything just dies to quick to really see much. In hindsight, I probably could have gone and equipped a one star weapon with no skills set, but...ah well.

I never played NG3 past the second mission. Any thoughts on whether or not RE may actually be a good game?

Unless they make the game feel like a Ninja Gaiden game instead of an arena brawler with terrible pacing issues, piss poor level design, and un-evolving gameplay, there's not a chance in hell. I bought my Vita solely because they announced NGS+ for it. I will not make the mistake of buying a Wii U for this shit. They'll get another shot when NG4 comes about, if it ever does.

Well from the looks of it, the unevolving gameplay issue seems to have been worked on with advancements and level-ups for different weapons. My first game for Vita was NGS+ as well. I hope they don't enforce the same accelerometer crap on NGS2+.

I think you can grab some of my gameplay from the leaderboards in the various NG games, but I may put up some gameplay on my own channel at some point. The problem is that the newest game I absolutely detested (but still finished on MN just because I feel I have to) and the only other game I have immediate access to is NG2 (not Sigma 2). Honestly the next action game I'll likely cap is DmC.
I am playing One Piece Pirate Warriors and might put some of that up. It's an amazing game if you enjoy both One Piece and the Warriors games. Lots of fun. If you have suggestions for things you'd like to see, I'm all ears.

I think that looks awful, and it's not just fanboy-ism for previous installments speaking, either.
From the looks of it, the "jump up in the air and suck enemies up to you for free combos" seems to be the dominant gameplay strategy again (Nero's Devil Arm, anyone?), you again seem to posses all "styles" and weapons simultaneously, taking away any of that thrill of customization, uniqueness and preparation. Additionally, all combat looks too "sweepy" (large swing effects/hit radius) and the visual design/writing leaves a lot to be desired.
NG3 did an awfully good job at earning the title of "least appealing sequel to an amazing action game," but DmC looks like a valid contender, to me.
The new DMC and that MGR I'm hoping is good. I think DMC looks real good so far. I don't think anything will touch NGB, though.
Expecting something to live up to Ninja Gaiden: Black will only lead to disappointment.
I never liked the old Dante. I actually like the new look of the game/character a lot more myself. I think even if the original fanbase won't like it the new comers will which will just leave a lot to the new generation. Also they probably didn't know how they would go about dragging along the series anymore anyways. Just I wasn't really interested in the original series, but I am now.
About MGR do they have a official release date yet? Also CE, are you playing DOA over PSN? It's been a long time since we've played doa and it would be fun to play for old time sake. Been pretty boring over psn. It seem the only time it's interesting is when I play someone from this site.

Dante is (was) a legend.
Up there with Ryu Hayabusa and Canderous Ordo as the all-time video game greats.
Also, I'm stacked this weekend, but if you want, we could try and set-up an online match next weekend. I think I already have you on PSN, and both being Cali, our connection shouldn't be too bad.
I'm down for that.
Also I remember hearing TN mentioned of releasing a new NG game based on the classic series after the backlash they got for NG3. Is this true? Can anyone confirm this? I hope it's not true. They don't need to ruin a already great classic series as well.
