  • I wish that Erik Davies would've remained or would still be Hazama's voice actor in Blazblue while Doug Erholtz would just voice Terumi since his Terumi is better than Erik's, it could've worked story-wise since Hazama is an artificially created human, his body is different compared to Terumi's thus the vocal cords would be different too.

Agreed! I prefer the delivery of Hazama’s old VA much better. Was it ever explained why him and Bang’s English voice actors were replaced anyways (Bang’s replacement voice was so grating... )?

Had to look up english Bang from CP but now I remember, yeah, his old voice actor was much better, it suited the character more. The only reason why I feel that the new voice actor for him is mostly acceptable is that Bang can be taken as a somewhat serious character from CSEX onwards with him being quite important to the CPEX's story as the new voice actor makes him sound a bit more serious.

Erik Davies is apparently doing his own stuff, looked around and I saw that he was a narrator for an audio book released in 2017, doesn't seem to be doing too much acting or voice acting anymore, same goes with Bang's old VA, if his wiki page doesn't lie and has all the info of his voice acted roles, then he hasn't been doing anything since 2016, which I guess isn't too surprising, he's 62 years old now.
Oh hey, Zangetsu is playable in Bloodstained:ROTN now. About time, was just about to farm almost everything out for Miriam and just go through the other 2 difficulty modes quickly. Now I have more to look forward to with this game.
There is an anime smash game that was made by a guy a long time ago called "The Last Generation: An Anime Smash Bros". Dude tried to do his own thing with it, it isn't exactly a full-on smash clone, it isn't too good either (still better than the first Super Smash Flash) but its fun nonetheless and there's plenty of content to it.

Makes me think about Jump Force. JF would've been better off if it would've received the Battle Stadium D.O.N treatment instead of it being another 3D arena fighter.
KT logo shown in Xbox Series X presentation: OMG, Ninja Gaiden 4????????? Is it happening?

@UpSideDownGRUNT Steam/Switch/PS4. Also, Isn't Fairy Tail coming out in 4 months? Plus they didn't say anything about the game coming to the series X yet. @HHH816 The person said that "these publishers are developing games for xbox" and that "there are hundreds of games coming to xbox series x in 2021". KT's last DW game that appeared on an Xbox console was vanilla DW8

@HHH816 and I don't think that they're making a new DW or an updated version of 9 after: 1. The fail that the game was and 2. Before making a SW5 first. Out of the bigger games that they make/made there are 3 that appeared consistently on Xbox consoles: DOA (which could also mean that there might be hope for a DOA6U), AOT (They can make an AOT3 given that 2 came out 2 years ago) and Ninja Gaiden.

@HHH816 We'll just have to wait and see I guess, she may have exaggerated at that point in time and at the end it might be that they're going to port some of the older KT games to the series X.

Friendships, Stage Fatalities, Fujin's return as a playable character, Sub-Zero's Shredder costume is back too, not bad. Also, is it just me or these friendships with the overly realistic character models look a bit, I don't know, weird, wacky?
Ok, seems MK11 is continuing its story mode, we'll probably find out more when Netherrealm will probably announce the second season pass tomorrow (short 30 sec trailer, at the end there's a "reveal: 5.6.2020" message", which is probably the announcement of the 2nd season pass with a longer trailer, or a longer version of the 30 sec trailer).

either it's story dlc + character dlc or they're just teasing the characters with a story mode cutscene (they did the same thing with Kombat pack 2 in MKX), either way im curious to see what they'll reveal
EVO gets cancelled but apparently they are "bringing the event online this summer". This year's EVO will be fun to watch but obviously not for how well the competitors play or how loud the crowd is or how insane the games between players will be because some games online, like Smash U. are quite bad and connections across the world are going to make some players, mainly the top ones lose their minds.

EVO needs to focus on being a Top 16-Max tournament with the intention of just giving FG's exposure. Don't bother trying to be a serious tournament, just a glorified exhibition of high level play.
Its ok to like or dislike a game however much a person wants but to say that his/her opinion is bad just because he/she doesn't (fully) like a game many praise? I actually like to see what certain people have to say about x game because their viewpoint about it is different and it might make me see a game in a different light, whether I agree or disagree with them completely or partially in the end.

Isn't that what reviews are all about, it is HIS/HER opinion and HIS/HER feelings about this game that HE/SHE played and guess what, HE/SHE can have HIS/HER style of reviewing games too, how shocking! Unless if someone makes reviews of the caliber that IGN does, then you're not a bad reviewer.

depends on the review like if something is broken or incomplete i would like to know that.

I don't mind the different points of view when it comes to any type of review. Its an acquired taste. What I do mind is when people force themselves to you on what they like so you have things in common. The amount of lecture they give could have earn me a degree on any trade I want after their "speech!" X.x
Things are interesting with ArcSys and the fans of certain games right now. There are people who think that there's no more new stuff coming to BBTag anymore. Iirc Mori said that he'd like to update this game and that there won't be a new main BB title anytime soon. Plus, does a game need that many new characters and updates that often?

ArcSys is at a point where Capcom once was: releasing new fighting games and new content to their older fighting games again and again to the point where they're literally racing against themselves, doing more damage to themselves in the process (lack of characters at launch for their games, teams not being able to fully focus on polishing one game which led to the Strive Beta being lackluster in quality).

Heck, DBZF players are also kept in the dark right now, haven't heard much about any content for the newest season pass since Kefla was released 2 months ago because again, UNICLR is still being updated, GBFVS is being worked on probably day in day out, they are working on DBZF and maybe BBTag and then they also working hard on Strive. Its just too much, especially with COVID being a thing.
Ok Tekken balance team, reverting back the hellsweeps to how they were before, buffing some low/mid tier characters while nerfing Leroy some more and adjusting Fahk's hard to break throw and his rage drive, good patch, good patch, keep it up.
I know that it is still just a beta but damn ArcSys has a lot of work to do on Strive, the things I've seen so far about it are quite concerning and they're going to release this game in 8 months.
Character Pass 2 for GBFVS is available from Fall 2020. I have a weird feeling that this game is going to have a crapton of dlc characters and season passes.

Pretty much yea, hopefully relink gets the same treatment + it'll be similar to Monster Hunter, which would make it feel like it's a GBF game but on PC(it'll come out on pc, you can bet on it)/PS4 instead.
Sol doesn't need the wall anymore to combo off of (most probably counter-hit?) Fafnir, ohhh boy, that has me feeling a certain type of way.
Are the Jak and Daxter games on ps4 playable or are they still not functioning the way they should? There's a pretty good deal on all 4 games on psn and I'm thinking of getting them.
Could arena/anime fighting games work as competitive fighting games in your opinion. I'd say yes, if it'd be optimised properly and if it'd receive good balance patches. Kill la Kill:IF if it would've had more characters, valor levels wouldn't grant huge bonuses and every character would be viable, the storm series if certain characters wouldn't have op jutsus.

I missed the CoN and Budokai games. They were heading towards the right directtion until Tenkaichi and UN Storm series came along...
    ChaolanLegacy
    ChaolanLegacy
Tenkaichi 1 wasn't good, very basic gameplay, graphics, mainly the character models didn't look good, reused voicelines from the Budokai games for characters that were present in those games, offline content was ok but not extraordinary, it truly felt like a step backwards, however, 3 has a lot of stuff to it and it even has its competitive community, game looks ok and it has a lot of causal content to it too.
    ChaolanLegacy
    ChaolanLegacy
Raging Blast 1 and 2 were also pretty good games both casually and competitively, like, it had a pretty elaborate cancel system and iirc, most characters from the cast felt unique in gameplay. DB games became very meh after that once Ultimate Tenkaichi was released. Xenoverse 1 was the game that truly put DB back on map, then FighterZ happened after Xeno 2.
Sonic Generations is an ok, content-rich game with somewhat badly executed but at the same time fun missions that can also be frustrating as all hell with plenty of content. Overall, its ok, can be good too depending on the levels of frustration that the game causes or doesn't cause.

Which is one of the main issues that the Sonic games are suffering from these days. They don't know the direction in which they want to take the Sonic games and when they make something decent or good even then they milk it until it becomes super dry. The last Sonic game that was praised by most was Sonic Mania and that was made by the fans and the ROM hacking community.

They need to chill with the Sonic games in order to figure out what to do with the franchise while they bring back old games from the dead so that everyone (mainly those who like/love Sega's games, both old and new) can be satisfied. Knowing Sega, that probably won't happen but to me that'd be the smartest option they could make.

Im not against the whole multiple game styles approach cause they;ve done it before and it's worked B4, Sonic 3 and knuckles did it and it worked, the Advanced series did fine with it, even the Adventure games and Heroes, while they had different approaches both did interesting things with it, but yeah, plz no more Modern Classic dual world gameplay, so over that shit
