    It's official. All 3 of my ps3 controllers have completely kicked the bucket. Until I get a new one I'll be on the 3Ds. See ya till then.

    Yes. Yes there is. You need to have a PS4 to do it. On the PS4, you make a Japanese account, and you're able to get a free 14 Day Trial for PS+. You can not do this on the PS3, but of course, you can use the account created from the PS4 on the PS3 (and Vita).

    Also, you can make a Brazil account on the PS3 and you'll be able to get a 14 Day Trial for PS+, without worrying about putting in credit card information (from Brazil).

    Don't be discouraged. It took me six months to grasp and apply the basics. In time, when you improve your reaction time through experience, this will come natural to you.

    From crouching to standing guard (example you want to block Jann Lee's 2KK): Try to react to or predict the low strike in the first place and hold down the '1 direction to block. For the second hit, let go '1' and just hold H to block the second hit.

    These are just my personal preferences to guard though. If you feel you can block better with '4', feel free to do so.

    And after most strings with a low involved you can throw punish, example if you block Hitomi's 6K2K, you can Tpunish with 6T, and if you block Ayane's 6K2K you can Tpunish with 2T! :)

    I'm inn the lab(using Ayne this time). I managed to do 8KK, PP4PP, 7K. Very hard combo to do, but I think I got the timing.

    I can help with almost every character. I play with 17 characters. 13 characters to some extent but I don't think I can help you with my worst characters --> Alpha-152 and Brad Wong.

    I'm not trying to double tap anything though. I was mearly trying to do 3pp4 and 3p4p, but the game assumed i either double tapped or held 3. It was the same when I was doing Kokoro's command training with a 3p combo move

    Hmm I see. You mighy be holding 3 too long or late on the punch response. Do 3 and p at same time and you wont get 33p

    I have the same issues with her standard 3p at times, the input window for it is a bit too lenient. Just press the command quickly and lighter and it should work out for you.

    However Momiji was released 1 month ago together with Rachel, so I'm sorry but I believe that will pass much time before to get another free trial for her (until to make her free for celebrating a milestone in the download of "Core Fighters").

    But I agree that she is a simple character in the execution, just as Ein, and so much more able to be learned in a shorter time compared to charas as Zack or Helena.

    I see your point. Guess I'm stuck with Helena and Zack for now. Rig's trial was decent(I already had mila free from TN's promotions)though I didn't get much time with him though

    All my controllers are crap now. I can't operate with them anymore. I want a new one, but ps3 controllers aren't cheap.

    XD well other than...that, you know games like Infamous use the sixaxis too. Who doesn't love to control a giant lightning bolt or a tornado?

    Don't worry it works. i'm using it since january. There is a button on the side to switch to be compatible.
    I was like u, fed up of the DS3 fragility.

    Here 's my experience report

    Pros:
    - Fault tolerant
    - DPAD excellent (4 points of contact) akira movement is a like a breeze
    - Cheap

    Cons:
    - no sixaxis
    - no bluetooth (you can buy the F710) (but bluetooth add small delay)
    - no home button (i use my broken ds3 just to exit the game)

    I got a bit irritated while watching Perfect Combo's stream. Someone said "Hitomi sucks & that she's 'only' good for online"... :mad:

    Just go to another stream channel. That one has stream monsters 24/7, and someone is bound to piss somebody off.
