There are other fighting franchises that has similar names, you can count this one: Ryu (SF) and Ryu Hayabusa (well, technically he's known for his surname). Also Kasumi: this one, Kasumi Todoh of King of Fighters/Art of Fighting and another Kasumi from Ninja Warriors (ADK). And then we have Christie, this one and Christie Montiero from Tekken.
hawt dam, Rashid wins Capcom Cup, even after all those nerfs, props to Gachikun, and all the other Rashid players too stubborn to drop him lol

Some peeps buy another fighter and stick to that one until they are truly done with it. Some people learn better that way, and I believe games such as KOF need that requirement of consecutive grind so that you obtain game mechanic habit and learning experiences increases better than constantly changing fighters slowing down your progress. Never really understood the trend of people buying so many fighters and shift.

I'm werid with fighting games,I can never tell if I'm gonna like something on the surface level and I can't trust my first impressions, that s why I try to play everything and come back to games l8ter to see which ones ends up sticking. Seems eclectic but that's just how it is for me lol

Yeah, like DB said, it's hard to get good at any particular FG if you just jump from game to game. It makes you a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. You'll just learn basic fundamentals at best.
fingers crossed MK11 brings back the fluidity and freedom of the MK9 engine, cause if this game is just gonna be MK10.5 with updated graphics and few new gimmicks then im out
enjoying darksiders 3 but holy hell this game has more problems than deadly sins to slay

the camera sux; which is par for the course for darksiders at this point
, too many enemies initiate attacks off screen, the lock on is for shit, atrocious pop in, frame drops for days, the low rez textures are ugly as sin, alot of times im not too sure what killed me cause attack animation seems to be missing frames, and the invincibility of the dodge is ambiguous at best :/
yo why does 1 RD tackle from marduk do 50% damage lol

Pretty sure it isn't guaranteed damage. Either way, DOA has +50% combos that are guaranteed so is this really a big deal?

yeah it's not guaranteed, tackle is breakable if you hit it raw (if you hit it at the tip it's unbreakable, at least that's how it used to be, still need to test that) and once marduk in ontop it's a 3 way mix up , and yeah im sure their are 50% unbreakable combos in doa, but what this isn't a combo with multiple strings, it's litteraly a single move that puts you in a one guess scenario and if you guess wrong, gg

pretty sure there's no single move in doa that does that, at least not without an environmental interaction or CH. if there is let me know because im very curious
