I'm probably going to be a realist and just vote MK11 or Samsho. I'm not sure how Jump Force even got up there, did the Namco boiyz pay Game Awards to put it up there to troll? lol.
MK11 and SamSho is debatable, DOA6 was a surprise but could also been payment tricks on the low without accolades.
I would vote doa6 since I support the game but I don't want people calling me fake for it xD the others I haven't played but smash is the most likeable one imo
@Awesmic yeah I thought about it and just decided to vote for the game, I still like doa6 throughout most of its issues and I think it'll continue to get better
My disappointment is immeasurable with DOA6 but still cool seeing it nominated for a big award show, albeit a "by default" pick lol I mean what other fighters released this year? that Power Rangers game had no chance. MK11 looks like the obvious pick but I could also see Smash taking it cause EVERYONE IS HERE
Well, we didn't have too many big titles coming out this year, it really was DOA6, Samsho and MK11 that were the bigger fighting games out there this year, so I don't think that TN/KT paid anyone anything in order to appear at the fighting games section of the game awards. Just replace Jump Force with KLK:IF and the list would be spot on for the 5 best fighting games of 2019.
Can't defend any of these lol I'd say SamSho out of these but I feel people's admiration for the game is fake AF as with any SNK FG, I can't trust the opinions of players that aren't Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Latin American.
Eh, the Game Awards is always a joke with regards to "Best Fighting Game". It's generally just the bi-annual NRS game that tends to do best due to being the most mainstream. (Hint: MK11's probably going to win this year anyway)
As for this year, the funny thing is that DOA6 doesn't look as godawful compared to the other 4 games nominated for "Best Fighting Game".
Jump Force has lifebars and a timer which is apparently all it takes to get in now. Expect WWE 2K on next year's poll if we don't get very many fighters in 2020.
@ChaolanLegacy EA has payed one of their games to be up there before, though didn't win.
It's probably generated by someone in there who's probably not to into fighting games I guess. Truth be told if DOA somehow won, that also still would of been sketchy. Basically this entire list is pretty much trash, but I give Samsho credit because they did do pretty well at release and still doing content.
