    Unpopular Opinions: CVS2 was highly overrated. Virtua Fighter is actually a really bland FG with no character. Meanwhile Tekken 4 and DOA4 were the most ambitious iterations in those franchises o.o

    Can't comment on CvS2 since I never played it enough to form an opinion, but I agree with the rest, VF is very dry (mainly cause all the character and story aren't even in the actual game!), and DOA4 and Tekken 4 were ambitious to say the least, I actually liked T4 and DOA4 definitely was the beginning of the "let's try new shit" era of DOA lol

    Virtua Fighter is mainly best at creating trends like 3D polygon based fighting game & customization (for Arcade Fighting Games), then gets over shadowed by Tekken, Soulcalibur, & DOA becoming another forgotten Sega IP (until Virtua Fighter X eSports trailer).

    Dan looks very unorthodox in SFV. I'm sensing rushdown vibes. He looks amazing, and viable. Probably stronger than Ryu. This makes me very happy. This is probably going to be the best rendition of him and it's the last season.

    yeah, they made him a weird cancel character, which is...interesting, but yeah just off the bat he looks stronger than Ryu, which is both sad and hilarious

    Im just anxoius to see if his -2 hurricane mixups will make a ruturn, since technically he has invincible uppercuts with his 2nd V-trigger

    That’s because MK11 is boring and Mileena is no exception to the rule. She’s very one dimensional and bad. MK11 is a balanced game but also very boring.

    I can’t speak about Tekken, but to me Ganryu seems meh.

    Same thing happened with Roshi in DBZF, he was the most requested character to be put in during the season 2 poll, and now that he's in, nobody plays him, cause every1 said "oh, he has no super dash and he can't SJ float, welp, time to go back to UI Goku and mash safe DP into 40%"

    Take care of the people you love, don't lose someone over your ego and misunderstanding. If you're bad at communicating then learn how to communicate. No one is perfect, but sometimes fixing a problem takes a moment by admitting a wrong doing and displaying empathy.

    No. We are still ok, it's just a matter of effective communicating and understanding each others needs/wants to reach something solid. We love each other and many people say that should be enough, but it really does take more than love to keep a flame from going out.

    Tbh, I haven't touched DOA in a long while. In fact, I haven't even been on my PS4 the past few months. Mostly been playing Smash and other games.

    With everything being online it's difficult to have proper conversations and express concerns. My professor never responds to an email. On top of that, I was at work on my lunch break attending class via zoom but I forgot my mic at home so I couldn't say I was there, even though other class mates vouched for me. He marked me as absent and removed from the zoom session. I was so annoyed

    It seems like he has something personal against you. I cannot stand it when professors do that, like it’s your job to help students.

    The removal from the Zoom session is just petty af, especially when your peers vouched for you.

    All the hit stop on moves in Guilty Gear: Strive. J'aime Pas.. I hope they remove it, or tone it down drastically. It's such a hype killer.

    If we ever get another DoA I hope TN uses their brain. NH throws should be breakable. The exception would be for punishments; CH and HCH should be unbreakable. They've made more than enough coins off DLC to afford programs that can design unique throw break animations. Enough of the "it's too costly" excuse.
