    been slowly getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh with master duel and dueling nexus; and while it is fun, playing 2022 Yu-Gi-Oh with 2012 tactics has proven disastrous overall lol

    Me: i'll summon 1 normal monster, play 2 cards face down and end my turn

    My Opponent: i'll activate this spell card, which at the cost of banishing my hand allows me special summon 4 monsters to field, and with these fodder monsters i'll link summon my ace monster with 3000+ attack, when my ace monster is summoned it destroys all your back row and forces you to discard you whole hand every 3 turns

    Sonic Origins looks sick, but the lack of the original Sonic 3 tracks is a deal breaker for me sadly, guess its back to the genesis collection :/

    also, gotta love how for years Sega refused to acknowledge whether Michael Jackson worked on sonic 3's music, but now with origins they're pretty much forced to go "yeah MJ worked on that shit, so it ain't 100% ours, anyways here's some prototype tracks remixed by Jun Senoue, you guys like him right?

    To be fair, Sega has been preparing us for this change for months on multiple occasions. And even with that said, you still have a chance to finally play objectively better versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on something other than mobile.

    At the very least, wait for a price drop.

    to be honest, Sonic 1 and 2 don't really do it for me, but playing Sonic 3&K with remastered visuals in 16:9 is a hell of a draw, but my face gonna be like :/ when i don't hear that OG music

    but i'll most likely get it on PC and im sure some clever clog will have a mod that puts the original music back in, maybe then i'll consider it a buy

    Tbf, Kuki is yet again another Inazuman 4 star character that is kinda niche/lackluster compared to the Mondstadt/Liyue 4 stars, her being a decent option in taser/maybe overload teams and thats pretty much it. While I do agree that the social media Genshin players have...interesting opinions most of the time, iirc the Itto banner rerun performed worse than the original banner

    Even with a 4-star that people pretty much wanted, like Rosaria during 1.4 but we all know how lucky one needs to be to get the specific 4-star on a character banner. This is partially because healers are mostly just shit on by everyone since damage matters the most in Genshin's "endgame" (even though my Kokomi is one of the strongest characters that I currently have and thats also without the donut).

    but late game these healer units can prove pretty useful, slap the ocean set on Kokomi/Qiqi and they'll be one of the strongest characters in one's party if the other characters don't have quite good to godly artifacts on them. Its much better to play Genshin for fun than to be competitive/be a "36 star gamer" imo but 80-90% of the playerbase thinks otherwise, or they just repeat the fav. content creator's words.

    Aharen-san, Kongming, Kaguya-sama (both seasons), that one K-ON! ripoff that has a 5 way rap battle in the student council room (can't for the life of me remember what it's called), I know there are others but those are just a few recent ones I can remember off top

    oh yeah, I forgot Sonicfox was doing work at 16 in MK, props to that guy

    but yeah I was talking about Acola, the 15 year old Japanese prodigy who came to last weeks big Smash tourney and made top US players look like they didn't know how to play, it was quite a sight

    granted he was playing Steve, a character smashers have talking about banning for half a year now, but that's a whole other conversation

    Steve can be annoying to fight against but don't think he warrants a ban. Same thing happened with Hero and Kazuya. Smash players always the same lol.

    yeah, but it's not their fault, Ultimate is a game that despite it's massive roster is quite homogenized compared to other smash games, that's why you can figure match up's pretty quickly, but when characters get released that have gimicky/weird neutral that require very specific counterplay AND they are strong on top of that (ala Steve and Kazuya) that's when players start getting mad and calling for bans

    I remember it as that one anime that used to air alongside Excel Saga in Japan... though I can't confirm or deny if it was actually a shitty anime.

    dam and I was just thinking about excel saga the other day to, crazy

    but yeah i remember it running alongside a bunch of other early 2000's wacky anime such as Excel Saga, Hare+Guu, and FLCL, don't remember a dam thing about it though, other than the main protagonist design and that it had a rather hilarious dub

    my pc's been chugging alot lately so I got GPU-Z to monitor performance and see where the dips were happening, of course the second I installed it my pc stops acting up and now runs perfectly, so typical :/

    So, the parry in sf6 is a button input, costs meter, and can be extended by just holding it? That's not a parry, that's just faultless defense from Guilty Gear/Blazblue!

    Zenless Zone Zero might actually be the most anime game ever created, it's got ninjas, tan waifus, cat girls, Dante rip-offs, lolis with giant hammers, cyber furries, demon waifus, battle maids, and that's just the pre-release stuff

    We still have no idea what it will be from gameplay perspective, my hunch is on it being an ARPG (mainly focusing on the action aspect of it, game seems pretty fast-paced in terms of gameplay) but depending on the character it might have more hack and slash or more shooter elements in it for example, either way, I'll be playing it on release for sure but so far I'm more hyped about Star Rail.

    Sonic Team has been saying they want to make SA3 for more than a decade now and we got - uhhhh... Lost World... Boom... Forces :/

    It would be nice if they had a general idea of where to take the franchise and stick w a direction.

    At the end of the day Sega is the one calling the shots, the team would like to make a game but the company's going to be like "No, no, no, you're making THIS game". Even if the "leaks" regarding TN having a smaller team wanting to work on DOA7 was fake, there are situations like these that do happen in other companies.

    The ironic thing is that most of their Sonic games end up being disappointing and then they end up going to the fans that make the fan games and just ask them to release their games under the company's name that usually ends up having positive feedback/reviews, which in a way is also the reason why they switch a lot between 2D and 3D. Maybe one day we'll get SA3 but that won't be anytime soon.

    thought we learned that passive offensive/defensive meter regeneration was a trash tier mechanic after MK11 but I guess Capcom said naw, oh well, just hope it's not as detrimental this time around
