DOA4 was the boldest in terms of design, DOA5 was the best competitively, DOA6 lost its identity trying to please everyone (and making Nico, Honoka, and Marie Rose story driven characters. IMO they made story mode so unserious).
So many 2D platformers I have to finish on the Switch. NG Ragebound, Shinobi, and Prince of Persia =/ Not buying another switch game until I finish those.
Looking at Nyo-Tengu's moveset wondering why I never played this character. Sick stun game, i12 launch throw/ceiling throw, her pp by itself is nasty because of the range and that it stuns on NH and because of it's options.. she has OH's, oki, and her 6T is a mixup. Complete via tournament character
Man, Marvel Tokon looks so fun. ArcSys really creates some of the best 2D fighting games. You can also see some of blazblue playstyle archetypes. Storm has Rachel's wind mechanic.
Think I'll get NG: Ragebound for the switch. Enjoyed the steam demo. I thought I wouldn't like the retro 2D art style, but it grew on me. Also has fun puzzles and mechanics.
Finally finished Clair Obscur Expedition 33 - they turned the theme of grief and how we cope with death into such a masterful story with probably the best turn-based gameplay mechanics. Don't think I've played a game with that powerful of a story. Can't wait for the film adaptation.
Well, it was it either City of the Wolves or Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I enjoyed the city of the wolves beta but realistically I won't play it long term, and I haven't played an exciting RPG in awhile.
hm the Switch 2 livestream was interesting. Alot of third party support games (and good ones), but was hoping for more exclusives. I think I'll still try to get one the S2 day one
