    I’m really excited for this MK. The gameplay looks really fun and we really have the best cast of characters to start the game off with.

    The game does looks awesome but I need to know about the content soon (towers, the Krypt replacement) because the release date is right around the corner.

    Thought I needed a new/upgraded PC. Nope, Tekken 8 is just poorly optimized on PC. Hope they fix it for the next beta (if there's another one).

    Hubby purchased the elite series 2 Xbox controller as an early b-day gift. I heard it was bad for fighting games and a regular D-Pad is much more superior, but I've been playing T7 and SFVI with it and it's been an interesting experience. Inputs feel cleaner and crisper. Hitting EWGF, KBD, and wash-dashing feels easier.

    I'm not buying them, they're over $60, and the quantity alone just shows that we lost a bulk of keys to these scalpers. Next time they need to make a download closed beta because I knew this was gonna happen

    I feel like the world in general is regressing. Everything becoming more expensive, meanwhile people’s salary doesn’t really go up either. People becoming poorer, having to rely on debts and loans to get by every month. It fucking sucks.

    The biggest MK1 complaints seem to be the gameplay speed and lack of movement. Both are slow and need to be sped up; fortunately it seems Ed Boon and NRS are listening. MK9 actually had great movement and they should go back or incorporate some of it.

    yeah, lack of wave/block dashing and slow movement is a bummer indeed, as for the speed thing, it sux but we're never going to get another modern MK that moves as fast as MK9, too many fundamtal differences in how modern MK is animated vs how MK9 was animated, as for run, ugh, I don't care for run up 50-50 the game (ala MKX) so I say leave it in the dust

    Well Rain in MK11 had the most fluid block/dash cancel that resembled MK9 and a fairly decent walk speed. Perhaps they can apply that to more characters in MK1. It seems they're taking feedback and changing movement/dashes was the most requested.

    Didn't get to play the stress test, despite getting the code. I kept getting the "Sign in to continue." screen and I couldn't get to the main menu when I booted it up.

    I'll just wait for the beta now, play the game in early access and either go back to MK11 or X, but I haven't bought the 360 version of MK9 and don't feel like doing so atm.

    Haven't seen just about anyone play modern controls in SFVI but very curious to see how far I can go with Marissa. Should be a fun experiment. Just need to get down the control scheme.

    T Hawk is married to a girl named Julia that looks exactly like Julia Chang from Tekken lol.

    It's weird because "Julia" is Juli, one of the Shadaloo Dolls. SF6 made her look EXACTLY like Julia Chang. I don't know why Capcom didn't switch Juli with Noembelu, which made more sense at the time unless they don't know what to do with Juli, besides being a "rival" for Cammy.

    it was very creepy seeing that photo of T. Hawk, Lily, and Juli.

    But when you finish bonding with Cammy in WT, Juli is with Juni on Cammy's last picture which doesn't look right as she's supposed to be with T. Hawk with the "Julia Chang" design.
