Sega announces USB and bluetooths based off Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast. They also want to work on a portable console for them.
Think Team Ninja is holding DOA development until the next console. Think about it, taking advantage of better hardware etc.

Is Raidou a real ninja?
Ever thought on how long everyone is going to play DOA? I might retire at DOA8 (maybe even gaming in general). Might be a fun discussion.
I also just realized that Ninja Gaiden celebrates their 30th anniversary this year.
Ryu's costume makes sense. There is history with the game on his shirt. The outfit is basically "started from the bottom now he's here."
