One of the best features is the Versus feature in lobby setting. You no longer have to go through countless loading screens, on top that it's 1v1. What more can you ask from this lobby feature? Just hit rematch and boom next match started. Now you can give or accept hands in jet speed.
The more you can get matches in, the more you can level up. This is but an FGC fact documented in the history timeline.

Kula and Diego's 6T have an increased throw range. It may have been intentional as Diego been had it since the beta.

Found lots of crazy things with Kula. Apparently many moves on the block stun renders opponent more at disadvantage if Kula blocks it. Seriously doubt it's intentional so TN may fix it.

SNK reduced the input latency from the built-in hardware from 8f to 4f for SAMURAI SHODOWN in an update.
Jeebus, nobody ever joins 1vs1 lobbies anymore. It's like people are asking to burn their 100 year life span in huge lobbies apparently. 1v1/3-man room > big lobbies.
Still kinda crazy that players from Japan are still finding tech from DOA5LR over at Twitter. I mean it's common to find tech in older games from latest gen fighters, but there are moments where it makes you go "Oh wow never seen that".
On top that TN wouldn't go their way to patch it either due to how late it was.
