    Looking back on DOA5 and 6, the most significant new character created for the series' lore is Nyotengu. Their one gateway character to a new world in the DOA/NG universe, and they reduce her to a troll...

    I think if there was anyone at Team Ninja that had any passion to try to take DOA's story somewhere, it died with Itagaki and Code: Chronos. Like him or not, he had an idea that was leading up to Code: Chronos that started with that crazy DOA2U intro. If it would have brought us more Aerosmith, we'll never know...

    I saw Neotengu the same way though. Missed opportunity.

    Is it weird that the first thing I thought when I saw the news is that you'd be happy about it? They finally brought back a RS character and it happens to be Akira. Capcom hitting a bullseye all of a sudden? lol. Kinda surprised SF didn't get a Darkstalkers guest first though.

    And just recently another long awaited return finally happened too... though no idea if you're still interested in it.

    Streets of Rage 4 is a phenomenal game worthy of being called a true sequel. Possible GOTY contender IMHO. Soundtrack is equally great, beautifully eclectic, and worth buying on vinyl.

    The censorship of DOA6 is officially inconsistent and random af. No-Ass Tamaki isn't even a kid, let alone looks like one, and they censor her Break Blow animation anyway?

    DOA6 also covered Rachel's Fiend Costume, & removed Phase-4 Arnice's Demon Costume. Despite having Exposure Setting.

    Censor Break Blow is the same problem as Marie, Honoka, NiCO, & Kula which that game also having a Violence Setting.

    Bottomline DOA6 Settings are kinda worthless (which should've been helpful) when you don't get close-up hits of certain girls, or more risque outfits.

    TN/KT really doesn't want to have a single bruise or hair out of place with Tamaki. It's like what Kasumilover implied. It's a Japanese thing for the waifus to look pristine all the time.

    Imagine an upgrade of DOA6 having a full-on customization feature, but you have to pay real money to reset and replace every part you customize. Surely Koei Tecmo wouldn't stoop this low... would they?

    This was also the case for DOA5 yeah. CPU Phase-4 had Kasumi moves from past DOA games, CPU Pai still had another cartwheel from DOA5 vanilla that you can no longer do in DOA5U/LR, even things like wall grounded sitdowns into wake up kicks which human players are not allowed to do.
