    I used an octo gate with my last stick and while it took some getting use to, I much better prefer a square gate now. Octo is fine for 2D grapplers, but for anything else I can't recommend anything other than square gate.

    Yoooo, Yaiba stick. That thing is the Hori Grail of sticks. Good stick, good buttons (the only Hori stick and buttons that aren't noticeably inferior), and good build. Astrocity/Namco Noir layout too. Looks cool too. :v

    It took me a month or two to get used to stick, but I was playing 2D fighters with it which have a lot more complex motions (1632143B+C!?). If you use exclusively a stick for a few weeks, you can really feel an improvement over pad.

    I feel like this is just the direction they want the game to go in. Stun lengths have pretty much been nerfed in general in from 5 to 5U and it looks like they want to just keep going with it. Pretty dumb, but I think they made this change with the intent of shutting down stun extension.

    R1F Izuna hold, no problem~ EDIT: Doesn't have that, "THAT DON'T WORK HERE, BRAH," aspect to it though, 'cause it's not on a wakeup kick. It's also 'cause I've been playing Leifang and they just sit there for like 5 seconds taking hits while I giggle.

    Sounds like it's just lack of matchup knowledge. Once you know what you can punish and what you can't, you'll have an easier time.
