As an aside, I'm having trouble deciding who to play. Excluding VF characters, who from the DOA roster most closely matches Jeffry, Pai, Eileen, and Aoi in VF5FS? I don't want to use any of the VF characters because VF is my main game, so I would simply play that if I wanted to use any of the VF characters.

Aoi and Jeffry were already mentioned earlier, but I think that Christie is the closest equivalent to Eileen based on her use of special movement stances. As for Pai, there is no equivalent to her in DOA5U besides simply using Pai herself. However, in terms of general poking speed, Kasumi and Pai are about the same (i9 jab, i11 mid P, i12 low jab).

Even though Rachel is braindead to use, she is a very good character if you actually pay attention to what she does and what she has.
She has many good tools. Her 1p alone is a great move due to it crushing highs. She has good options from , in other words after she can do many things.





These are all very easy to do but either way, you will get hit if you guess wrong. Try to duck the OH or block the low kick and get hit but the third punch. Try to sidestep the last hit and get caught but the tracking high . Or try to block the whole mid string and get OHed and hit by the low kick. If a Rachel player makes you guess wrong a lot just with her PP strings, you are in deep trouble. But there are people who say is is unstoppable. Wrong. She sucks mass dick in spacing and lacks in tracking, use those against her. And if you are faster, use that against her.

I have to agree. Against a faster character, rachel struggles. But once she starts that offense it's on. Oh and dat force tech. I HATE that force tech.

You can tech it. And I am not fully sure but I don't think it guarantees anything after it. If she whiffs it you can easily punish it.

I find it awkward how my post above yours says that she isn't broken. :l
