ugh. never used that.

Honestly, anyone who actually USES shit like that is just absolute scum in my eyes.
Funny story, so when that actually happened to me i was on the mic and this guy starts doing the infinite
Me: Hey, are you going to keep spamming that infinite?
Him: Why?
Me: I want to go get some chips and salsa
Him: Ight, cool i'm gonna kill you off with this though
Me: Ok, cool

after 3 minutes of walking in and out getting salsa/chips/coke he still was doing it and then we talked about salsa

When he did the infinite for the second time i then kicked him

No, rachel's stomp wasn't considered an infinite it was more or less considered a vortex(or a blender) since you can hold her out of whatever she was going to do or mash since i don't believe her throw was guaranteed either so if you thought she was going to do that you could mash out(it still wasn't really fun to get stuck in)

besides you could still do a back tech to avoid it

There have been quite a few infinites through the course of doa5. If I remember correctly Gen Fu, Leifang and Leon have all had infinites at some point. I don't think there are currently any in game though.
I dunno if Leon's was technically an infinite so much as you'd be dead long before it dropped you lol. only like 4 or 5 hits to kill you.

I know this may be general among DOA players but Gen Fu is really getting on my nerves these days. I can't seem to get out of his endless loops and blender. It's the guessing game that really bugs me. I would appreciate anti-Gen Fu strategies in the sense of: 1) Avoiding to get in his blender/vortex or 2) Getting out of his blender/vortex.

Also, Lisa is giving me trouble. I rely much on guarding and Lisa is doing constant guardbreaks which give her guaranteed hits. I also don't know what is best to do when she starts running because she has many running options. And when she has her back turned towards me, I get confused as well. Any tips?

I feel like every character is annoying at some point, but then it's not really the character, it's more like how the person I'm facing uses said character. I understand learning to deal with certain situations is good, HOWEVER, that doesn't make it fun whatsoever. I really hate having to play fucking stupid to beat certain strategies, because even when I win, I don't feel like I won, I feel like I just was irritated the whole time.

And it's this kind of thinking that opens floodgates for people thinking they need approval from other players to fit in or be considered "legit"... which is something I really don't like, but end up having to deal with anyway.

I hate fighting Eliot, because people are using him better than I ever could. And I find it funny the moment I drop him as a main, that's when people are starting to pick up the character more.

To be fair, the moment you dropped him as a main was when HunterxHunter got very interesting. More elaborately, Kurapika got interesting.

Kurapika looks disturbingly similar to Eliot. And thus, some were motivated to play Eliot because HunterxHunter was so hype at the time.

However, it may be just another farfetched theory of mine. I over-think things, after all.
