I watched his DS playthroughs. Very smart guy.
I was wondering How the fuck do people finish dark souls in one hour????????????????????
Alright so I played some DS2 andholy shit that Pursuer boss fight was random as hell. I got there and did absolutely no damage to the guy. I soon figured out I could use those massive ass stationary crossbows or whatever they are and that left him with just about three pixels of health. Also I have no idea what weapon to use.
Strafe to his left lol. He's really not that bad, just need to be patient.
Don't bother with the ballistas. It's only doable via summons. It isn't worth the effort. Best to twohand and slowly chip away at him. Again, strafe to his left constantly!
The Pursuer fight can be done with the ballista without summons with no damage taken quite easily.
But aside from that trick, the fight is complete and utter bullshit. @Pictured Mind can now go back to the earlier pages of this thread and truly appreciating all of my ranting on that stupid boss.
The good news is that he's one of only two challenging bosses I've encountered in the game thus far, and is the cheapest one by far.
You'll have fun fighting 2 at once then

Have you tried fighting Vendrick yet? Emphasis on "tried."
Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag, lolYeah, but if you try to fight him when you first see him and wonder why it's taking forever to get him to fight back that is the funny part. Then when his health bar (finally) appears and you finally see how much damage you did and are like "Are you freaking serious?"
