Vain has two definitions, this is the one I was going for:once again thats not what vain means. if you want to add more male fan service and then you add more fan service, you have have accomplished exactly what you set out to do.
maybe you're referring to trying to draw more of a female fanbase in which case A) pretty sure that's not the artist attention and B) you don't have the statistic to show if its working or not.
producing no result; useless.
"a vain attempt to tidy up the room"
synonyms: futile, useless, pointless, to no purpose, hopeless, in vain; ineffective, ineffectual, inefficacious, impotent, unavailing, to no avail, fruitless, profitless, unrewarding, unproductive, unsuccessful, failed, abortive, for nothing; thwarted, frustrated, foiled; archaicbootless
"a vain attempt"
And it may have not been the artist's intention but based from some of the member's reactions to the costume who liked it for certain reasons, it got the reaction needed to show that some people liked the more revealing elements of the costume, and it's not just the female fanbase either they could be trying to draw in either. And I don't need statistics; TN tried time and time again to make outfits for the males but when no one buys it they don't make them much anymore, and when they do make them it's mainly in these collaboration packs that may or may not have males included or in these large scale packs that are either fan designed(And are ultimately the better packs imo since the designs are always creative and fresh) or copy paste type ones like the Valentines day one, but in that case, it was actually the males who got the better turn out in comparison to the girls who all got the same apron and bikini with minor differences in footwear and accessories. Statistics aren't needed in cases like these since the DLC they put out actually speaks for itself in where their priorities atm are.
