Sadly I think it was something like they didn't sell very well. Also that was back when every month we kept getting bikini packs which sold much better.

TN now a days make much more varied dlc packs though and the type of dlc they make now includes things like destruction and collabs so they could hopefully make one or something like it now a days.

Wasn't there only, like one legacy pack ever (the first time dlc pack doesn't count as while it did feature throwback outfits, it was released for free)? And all the contents of that pack became free for last round? Seems odd that they would make that decision based on one pack.

Personally, I kinda hope they can at least go back to what they were doing for dlcs for the base release of 5 where they released themes in packs of 4 costumes each, that way, they can cover more themes that better suit each character. The recent newcomer pack comes close to doing something similar (only 5 characters with each outfit tied to an old theme) and I hope they repeat that in some way, maybe even doing character specific theme packs.

I want Kasumi's DOA1 low ponytail back, along with that P2 outfit where she wore spandex shorts underneath her dress, that costumes was so iconic.

That was actually her C1 in DOA1, unless you played PS1 ver
Oh it was? Oh, I always thought that her blue ninja dress was the default. Speaking of that one, they should include her original blue dress from DOA1 too, and I think she had an overalls shorts outfit with her hair up in a cap, i'd love that too.

They need to release a DOA1 legacy pack for everyone.
Had a similar idea a little while ago, but my idea was to give the 11 original characters their polygon models from DOA1. Kinda like this;

Not just for the original 11, how about a pack where characters use the character design they used in the game they first appeared in; Lisa will use a doax1 design and Rachel and Momiji will use their ng designs and so on while the newcomers in 5 not getting anything (for once with regards to Marie and Honoka, they need to stop hogging the spotlight)? Would be an interesting way to show off how the game's design has evolved.

Maybe that new (possibly) paid stage will be a true throwback stage meant to celebrate the series' 20th? Not a remake but modified just enough to meet the current gameplay (maybe even reintroducing ring outs).

If it's a new stage and not a throwback, i hope it has that sick Electro grunge type music that played in the DOA5LR pre launch trailer, that track would've been my new training mode theme. I'm betting the new stage is the freedom survivor, it is already in the game, they just need to make it available for combat.

The new stage has to be something totally new if they want to justify charging for it*. A remake would be fine but I personally don't think that would be enough, it has to have something truly unique to stand out.

*There's still no confirmation yet that it is being charged for so I will continue to regard it as an "if"
