Also, just thinking about it, the fact that we got a Warriors theme pack a few months ago proves that that series is NOT part of doa/ng and as such, :naotora: is very much a guest character and therefore (I'm sorry to tell her fans*) will more than likely NOT be featured in any crossover packs and very likely WILL NOT come back for DOA6.

*sarcasm
It's ok, I'm just gonna have a very tough time saying goodbye :'-(. I didn't like her at all when she was first shown months ago, but now...*sniff*

Also. they should go back to Rock for the soundtracks, but that is just me, i'm not really fan of all the rapping that is present on DOA 5.

What rapping? The only rap song in doa5 that i can think of is showdown(coming from a huge hiphop/rap fan i gotta admit that song is super ass).

For fun I'm gonna post the lyrics

Yeaa
I feel it in my blood, It's time for the battle

[Verse 1]
Feel the rain coming down from the heavens above
Dark feeling from within takin' over, I love
The adrenaline you get cause it's time for the battle
Feelin' queasy and uneasy
Stomach startin' to rattle
But I trained all year for this so now I know that I'm ready
And if a tournament's on Friday, call me Freddy
This my time, my year, my fight and my chapter
You thought you were a threat?
You were never a factor (Noooo)
Beat downs are delivered and the mailman is Brad Wong
Tournaments are funerals
Body bags, sad songs
Rigamortis, they like the grass gettin' mowed down
Dead or Alive 5, we call it the showdown

[Hook]
There's a time to pray and time to fight
Everything's a weapon when your holdin it right
So guard your left and check your right
It's the showdown are you ready to fight?
Cause there's a time to pray and time to fight
Everything's a weapon when your holdin it right
So guard your left and check your right
It's the showdown (It's the showdown)

[Verse 2]
You step to me at anytime, guess you better bring the shovel
I'mma bury your career, and do it on my favorite level
You can call me Geppetto, cause you're a puppet on the string
Sit back and watch closely now, as a legend does his thing
I know the people I be playin, pr-pr-prolly can't stand me
Dancin' on em like I'm Lisa, flexin like I'm Jann Lee
Snappin necks like Bayman, breakin backs like I'm Zack
But my words are like Kasumi, lightning fast-they attack
I got wisdom in the game, the battles that I've been through
I could reach my inner strength, Eliot or Gen Fu
Still don't understand? I bet you'll learn the hard way
Sneak up from behind, Hayabusa or Ayane
So bring your best to the war, I'll shine brighter like a lighter
Press the button, start the battle cause you know that I'm a Fighter!

They need to just announce Dead or Alive Dimensions HD.
YES! They can even port it to PS4 and Xbone, just remove the Samus stage and presto. I'd love to main Kasumi @ again, she was was better imo than Kasumi, less rushdown and more defense oriented.

DOA Dimensions is very unlikely. The game was co-developed together with Nintendo from Team NINJA. The only thing possible of bringing anything back from that game is the music. People make it easy when they say "Port DOA5 Dimensions and DOA4 to PSN!".... It is much more complicated than that.

You can't simply port an HD version of the game when the initial game itself was developed raw with the content including Ridley's Metroid stage (rights barrier here). You either have to remake the game or develop it from scratch again..which is even more unlikely and something they wouldn't do since it would be time consuming as much as I hate to admit. That was also the only DOA along with DOA1 of the series I have never played. Not that I don't like portables, I just never took an interest to those platforms.

Don't know the songs by name, and i guess not everything would be Rap music, but like, more pop somewhat hiphop oriented? the credits song for the ending, the song in mila's training gym, are what i'm thinking here exactly

Yeah!!! Kill Honoka!!! And Marie!!! They don't deserve the attention they get!!

Nah I still disregeard because it turns everyone into pussies that have to be saved as Hayabusa beats all the bad guys, and it turns Genra into a stock villain, among other stupid changes.

Like originally Hayabusa was just an observer, essentially, aside from taking out Tengu.

Originally Kasumi killed Raidou, Ryu killed Tengu, Ayane killed Genra, and Helena won the fourth, though Zack technically won every tournament as they dropped out and he was runner up.

Genra was a more tragic figure as Ayanes father figure kidnapped and turned into a crazed weapon by doatec, she had to put down. Dimensions turned him into a generic power hungry backstabber who willingly got turned into Omega.

Dimensions just made everything way lamer.
Lmao, I'll tell you exactly what i mean, babyboy. I dont like showdown because it has a decent instrumental but some weak ass lyrics.

I just listen to my own music when i play doa5.
same.

In vanilla I just turned music off entirely because that is some amateur highschool shit rap lol. I hate rap to begin with but I can tolerate decent rap. Showdown makes me cringe.

The lyrics aren't even the worst part, its that there's not even rhythm lol. You can at least deal with poor lyrics in music if it SOUNDS good. But its not even music he's just...talking.

Showdown makes me miss Aerosmith more than I ever knew I could.

What doa6 needs is to make another Aerosmith opening video.

I first heard it when I was 13 and looking up the xtreme 2 pole dances before I actually got in DOA. In all seriousness that song basically told Christie's whole life story.

I actually liked some of DOA5 vanilla's stage music, such as Skyscraper (Top of Scramble), Neog Niep Place (Ends of the Earth)
i chose the cherry blossom stage theme music as kokoro's theme it was that awesome. and of course putting Cheerful Buddhist Priest as the main menu music, leaving the game on the main menu, stealing the remote so they couldn't turn the volume down and driving my family off the wall

Gaia, Cascade, Light the fuse, and Liberation are my favorites, especially The Hot Zone one, that's my favorite stage next to Lost world and the Rapids Stage(but only when the raft breaks and is leaning over the waterfall, that's when Cascade plays).

My Grave is such a good theme! X)
It fits Christie really well, That and Tribal Beats Lisa's theme are my personal favorites.
I really want them to add some of these themes to doax3, And when it comes to doa5 The rooftop stage has a really good theme.
