  • Kasumi's new win pose has her do a twirl and a ninja-y pose with "This is Mugen-Tenshin style."

A clarification werewolfgold, but you are talking about a single pose or about 2 different poses?

I ask this because in DoA4 Kasumi had 2 poses depicting what you wrote here, her great and greatest ones (you can see them at the beginning of this video).

I kinda hope that there's at least some in game balances in the Arcade Edition. Im tired of seeing Alpha all the time in tournaments.

It said "minor" so I doubt it will be anything big. Probably less than what we got with the 5U 1.03 update.

When you're balancing a game a minor update can change everything for a character.
Agreed.

About changes to the characters, @Cr!msonWarrior reported that in the Arcade edition Jann Lee's P+K sit-down stuns on hit (original info from Chosen1)
What sense does that make? It was a push back, now they made it a stun? Well I know one thing..... if certain pushbacks are being removed, Zack might jump to #godtier

Mhmm ... in which way? By trying to confirm the point of view some people have that DOA players only play it because they have big need of seeing boobies flying around? The adage "Sex sells" might be right in some ways, but if someone who already has this prejudice comes around seeing this, I'm sure he will turn on his heel's even faster.

That might be no problem if it can be changed/switched off though. It just looks creepy on characters like Rachel or Tina.
DOA came to arcades with a huge difference, and that was the bouncing breasts of the female fighters. Maybe it's just a throwback nod to those times. However, OMG is kind of excessive and gives me motion sickness, which is why I have my setting on DOA. And honestly, people know what kind of game DOA is and it's not the first fighting game to have females with bouncing breasts. So what if there's fan service? Every game has some form of fan service, so DOA just capitalizing on it shouldn't really make people turn away from the game. It's a fun "fighting entertainment" game period.

Because some would argue that having breasts bouncing off the girls' chins like ping pongs is ridiculous. I wish TN would have more faith in their game . -_-

Maybe they should have used Natural setting or even DOA setting, which is a happy medium. Whatever reason, I'm sure TN has faith in the game, otherwise, they wouldn't have bothered with an Arcade release. Remember, when the game was first announced, TN was trying to tone down the sexuality of the game and make it a more serious fighter. However, after that didn't work and it got neglected by the FGC, TN decided to focus on fans more. DOA is fun for what is it and what it has to offer. People act as if women can't have big breasts in real life. Granted, they don't bounce by themselves, but you get where I'm going with this. Lol

Thanks for the info.
OMG breast setting, huh? That's gotta be annoying/distracting. Personally, I have the breast physics set to "off."

Anything new/cool you noticed with Hayabusa from the get-go?
I tried to set up a scenario to try to Izuna someone over a low barrier because I remembered you mentioned that you can't do that anymore. I failed unfortunately because the computer kept sidestepping or free stepping whenever they got near the wall. Sorry.

There weren't any real "this combo doesn't work anymore" moments so it's kind of hard to say what's changed for any of the characters I used.

This is a single, completely new pose (though the line isn't new). She does a spin and then a pose that's almost reminiscent of the stance she takes when she does her advanced teleport hold. :4::9::h:

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

Now, that I think about it, I should probably mention this. Kasumi may have a new counter that involves giving her opponent a return elbow. I didn't mention it because 1. I don't remember how I did it, and 2. I haven't had time to boot up the game and check to see if it's already there. I don't use Kasumi at all.

But, finding all the changes is probably going to be a group effort if they aren't drastic. This sounds like a "run through all of your character's moves to check" type of deal. And, if there ARE new moves, then...

I don't play Kasumi either, but that sounds a lot like the new throw she got in 5U (46T?). Maybe she has that as an expert mid punch hold now as 64H?
