DOA5U wanted Costumes

Im not too concerned about insulting Mila, TBH. I want want her to look as good as possible.
At any rate, I expect TN to follow the $$$. I just hope they beleve, like I do, that DoA fans are more likely to buy a skimpy outfit, than another tracksuit.

Well... actually... No. That's kind of what this fanbase is getting sick of. We've got 3 recolors of Tina, Lisa, and Christie's torpedoed, plunging neckline swimsuits. So, we're set on swimsuits, five-ever. The hardcore fanbase has become more evolved (especially from what I observe on these forums - you guys know who you are haha! ) and as (most of) us grow older we approach our favorite characters as "subjects". It's only natural we want our favorite character's "visage" as Ayane might say - to be in tune to their personality. So we want them treated as subjects, with consistency: i.e. Mila should get athletic wear - with yellow or "energetic" tones; Helena should get damask silks or embellished, semi-sheer blouses in black, indigo, purple or red --> communicating Helena's "le statut" is central to her appearance. Hitomi's catalog supply denim, bright colors and high-school themed outfits. Her outfits should reflect her youthful frivolity, as well as her busy & adaptive nature - which could also describe her fighting style but, I digress.

These are things that would get glossed over if TN were to continue blindly following the "$$$", and when that happens, we notice. And that is bad for business.

And let's be honest. Who's primary outfit is a swimsuit? Most players use them a few times to show off in the lobby. At most they are used twice a session because then it just gets awkward for everyone - it's like happening upon a 12 year old goth kid with 18 piercings in his ear cartilage; it's like, "We get it, we see you."

They should focus on getting the girls some more clothes. There's nothing "inherently" wrong with swimsuits don't get me wrong. But, we need more options and variety when it comes to DLC. Cater to the fans, not the minority who want more skin.

I wish each character jut got a normal everyday outfit or something that you'd wear to the mall or something. We had enough bikinis and tight leather clothing. Look at Sarah's outfit 4. The white shirt and blue jeans. Normal clothes. Not too much and not too little. Same with Jacky's blue jeans and jacket. Yea a few characters have them but they have like 1 but have 20 bikinis on the side. knowing how much of a badass Momiji is in NG, its just ruins her everything seeing her in TOO MANY bikinis. 1 is fine but she has like 5 hundred. And the guys have about 4 or 5 costumes each while the females have over 15 with the majority showing off their bodies.

I would like to see the guy characters in some good costumes. But as the females get all sexier and more naked, the guys are getting more clothes put on with baggy big pants and bullet proof vests. Not saying I want them naked, just saying give them something casual. Hell, give the guys there own sports gear like football or baseball (or is that the sports thing you guys been talking about?) something that the guys can get. Also (this is for your Ryu players) they need to put in unmasked Ryu.

Big part of why I like Mila. Almost All of her non dupe costumes are casual wear.

The possible option for Bass to wear from Mila's costumes are the all-grey workout clothes or the jacket-less version with the towel, provided that he gets a lengthened version of Mila's sports cropped tank top (but that would look more like Jacky's C3).

Bass in Mila's C2 could work too and would be nice to see Bass in jeans for once but I think it could have been preferable for some other guy who is s casual dresser.

Bass in Mila's C2 then. Bass in Mila's C1 seemed unimaginable. Zack fills in her C1 due to the fact that his DOA2 default costume has a similar crop top.

If you and others like you, want your characters to dress a particular way, because its consistent with their personality, then thats fine. I dont really care about storylines or personality. I just want my chosen character to look good. For the females, that means skimpy outfits.
I feel awkward when I play against people who have anime gamerpics and schoolgirl outfits on their in-game characters. I dont complain. I just get on with the game.

As for the topic of skimpiness, in Team Ninja's defense, they have been getting better. Two packs in a row with normal (if themed) alts for the characters, most tuned for the characters. I'm eagerly awaiting their next pack.

Lets say DOA created their first old lady character (60+ years old) and she had visible signs of aging in her body. Would you still want her in a skimpy bikini rather than what old biddies would wear? Would you pick a thong over bloomers for her?

If you add too much too your wallet too fast or purchase too many things too quickly, they put a hold on your PSN account for 24 hours, preventing you from getting anything or adding more money for a while. If you've been buying the packs separately, that's probably why. If that is the cause, just wait a bit, and try again in a day or two.
