Welp, then you must be talking about Ed Boon, the creator of the game because he's a close friend of Wiz Khalifa's. And Wiz Khalifa doesn't suck (imo).

Also this is the official trailer with the all-new engine that it's being produced on. So yes it is that fluid.

so off topic am i the only one that thinks both MK movies and the Conquest series were better than that crappy legacy series? sure the story got a little fucked, but the action was cool and the characters weren't butchered like most FG movies.

I liked the first MK movie better, but the 2nd movie no. I pretend that MK movie doesn't exist.

I liked MK Legacy series. It different from what you expect from Mortal Kombat but could have been much better. I still have to watch the 2nd season which I haven't gotten the chance to do yet.

While they all need some serious makeovers. Li Mei at least looks similar to Leila from Final Fantasy II.

Why do you guys want them to look "the same" as other characters so much? It's a fighting game. A bloody & brutal one at that. It's not meant to be like something that.

I love hyping games, but this was not the way to do it. Show the most boring "iconic" characters, display CG (which is irrelevant to what matters and is pointless) and throw in Ed Boon's typical biased behavior layered in with a rap that can't even compete with Vanilla ice and you have the worst trailer I have seen all year.

If you look at the trailer carefully enough it actually looks like a cinematized fight between two players (zoom ins, camera angle changes, and slow motions) coupled with the appearance. Some things might be actual parts of gameplay (zoom in on Scorpion being bashed by a frozen tree branch and that huge Sub Zero thing). Pretty much take a fight between the devs showing off some of the things it can do and make it look badass to get people hyped. It would be a lot nicer looking if it were strictly a cinematic.

Definitely Injustice influenced (the tree interactions, sword on the stage) with an inclusion of environmental effects on skills (Scorpion chain over a branch).

Meter probably returning, we got supers.

It actually looks fluid, this is a plus.

Nah there is no actual gameplay in the trailer, its all pre rendered

Though I get what your saying Zero, they probably did show off some of the stuff that you will be able to do in the actual game but nothing in the trailer is "actual gameplay"

But it was clearly all pre-rendered mum-jumbo so it doesn't matter.
