Cause VF is a superior game. Also when DoA was struggling was when DoA4 was out. I would never support that game for all I knew TN wanted to kill the series with that game. Also there was no way to support it that game has 0 dlc. Also screw handhelds I strictly play fighters on one controller. Plus I aint getting a handheld for one game.

Indeed gameplay is all a fighter needs for me to like it. All the other shit is fluff to me like sound, graphics and such.

Despite its flaws it DoA was my first competitive fighter. That being said I see the depth in it that other communities don't care to see. Also for the longest time it was the only 3D fighter out there. Once SCIV came out I left the game so quick.
