Oh i personally love them :p

btw did you guys know you can use the IS shuriken and windmill in NGS2, i just saw from my friend few days ago. I wonder what made them remove it
Rephrase that? I was under the impression the IS was removed so that Ayane could feel special with her flatulent kunai.

The answer? "What testing?"
Wasn't going to say that, but...lol. The co-op stuff doesn't appear to ever have been tested in any title since it came out. This is especially true of the highest difficulty. The UN trials in RE are just stupidly designed.

In NGS2 you can use the IS shuriken and windmill and the UT is the same as NG2

To further elaborate on Brute's post, if you used Rachel and spun the camera just right while using her dodge constantly she was completely invincible. It was used in co-op to isolate bosses in mutli-boss fights to make things easier and less "How did this make it through testing?!"

That's just stupid, surprised it wasn't patched.

You're giving the designer more credit than I did. You all know I loved RE but that shit wasn't tested at all. I've said that very plainly directly to members of Team NINJA as well. In one case it was face to face.

TN's version of "patches" for Ninja Gaiden involve adding more boobs and then re-releasing the whole game under a new subtitle.

I appreciate you doing that. Hopefully, they took the feedback to heart for NG4.

Please tell us what they said when you told them!

When I can say things to you guys I always do. I hold conversations with Team NINJA in the highest confidence possible. Unless I'm explicitly told I can share I simply don't. Have to maintain professionalism at all times, even when speaking to members I'd consider a friend. You give respect to earn it and then, to keep it, you maintain what earned you that respect.

Oh ok np btw if you ever meet them again you think you could tell them to remove the massive recovery when you dodge in NG4 xd

Rest assured, any discussion I have with them about Ninja Gaiden would include detailed mechanic feedback. Given what I just said I'm not sure what else you expect me to say here haha.

So, moving on...

I've beat it twice already but since Team Ninja likes reporting their games so much, why not put Dragon Sword on the ipad. Touch screen. Perfect fit.

Aight, I know I'm mad late to the party and I'm probably gon repeat some stuff, but.. I just beat RE for the first time tonight. Hot dam was that game hard! I was only playing on Hero Mode too, lol. I'd probably still be at the half way point of the game if it wasn't for that.. By the way, that mode is amazing.

This game felt way harder than NGB and NG2 (Xbox version). I don't know if it's cause it's been a few years since I played a NG game or what. I beat both of those games on MN believe or not. What I think made this game harder was the fact that the enemies block and evade a lot more, and that they have more health (some of em die quick, but a small %). NG2 had that XXYBY auto kill for basically all enemies. This one, not so much, hahah. A lot of times in RE, it felt like he wasn't swinging in the direction I wanted him to either. Maybe that had a part in it and is just something I gotta adapt to.

I skipped NG3 cause I aint like the demo. But RE felt pretty awesome though. Combat didn't feel as fluid, seamless and responsive as NG2. But it still felt cool. I think they took a huge step in the right direction from NG3 to NG3RE.

I've never had a problem with the camera in NG before. But the camera during the first section of the T-Rex fight was just straight ridiculous. If hitting RB woulda aimed the camera at the T-Rex, it woulda been fine. But that wasn't happening for me. Maybe I was supposed to click the right thumb stick, like in the last boss fight or somethin. I didn't catch it though. And speaking of the last boss fight, cheese n rice man, wtf! That was straight crazy yo. She's swingin at me, it's raining plasma blasts or whatever, and there's like, 10 platinum versions of those monsters comin at me constantly until I fill up that Nimpo meter. Yo, that was crazy hard. And I couldn't die! (except when she would break the roof n I'd fall through) And still was having a hard time! Only kind of healing you can have available to you on that part is if you waited to use your health upgrade thing. Crazy.. Was pretty awesome doin that last fight with his mask off.. Real talk though, I'm bout to go watch a YouTube video of someone playin this game on MN.

All in all though, I thought the game was pretty bad azz and worthy of the title NG. NG3 felt terrible compared to this one.The OT's were ill, and the camera angles during the SoB animations were hella dope. If they could tighten up the controls a lil and make it more responsive, and let you swing in the direction you're holding the analog stick in like in NGB/NG2. That'd be awesome. Maybe I'm just outa tune with NG, but if I remember right, in NG2 you could cancel most of your attacks with a dash, or a block if someone came at you from behind or somethin. I dunno. Ima go do a normal run and let the game force me to get better at it, lol. Deuces. Feels like it's gon be hard though. Especially some of them boss fights.....

Ultimate Ninja is the highest difficulty, not Master Ninja. They added UN after MN for the last couple titles. If you honestly felt the game was difficult at the Hero level you weren't using SoB and OTs effectively and you probably stuck with the Dragon Sword or something. The game basically beats itself on Hero unless you're fighting against it. I've never played it myself but if it's even easier than Normal...

I went through basically the whole game on Hard with the DragonSword/JinranMaru/BladeOfTheArchfiend. It's more than capable of taking you through the game on the earlier difficulties.

But yeah, most mook encounters are just spamming Steel on Bone, which can be done with almost any weapon effectively (Lunar staff is an exception, with Scythe and Kusari-gama having the best). It might be the lack of items as "lifelines" throwing you off, if you're used to relying on those.

"NG2 had that XXYBY auto kill for basically all enemies."
Interesting. I found the most spammy, fuck-all moves in that game to be:
Falcon's Talons: ->AYXY
Lunar: XXY
Scythe: Jump XY

ALL DOA6 DOA5 DOA4 DOA3 DOA2U DOAD
