I still love the Lunar Staff, but TN must have been on something strange to implement its SoB in such an impractical manner. Sure it's not bladed, therefore not made of steel, so it really can't cut through anything. But still, they could have at least tried to come up with something better. It's the best weapon for me to use to kill off Van Gelfs quickly, so I'm sticking by it no matter what at this point.

Finally finishing getting all of McNinja's weapons up to lvl 5. I'm currently lvl 41, and while I seem to have all skills, I'm still missing the vast majority of his colors/armor/headgear. They're probably unlocked by beating certain trials and not by achieving certain levels at this point. I really hope 50 is the max level. Grinding this guy is a pain.

99 is max lvl

Most armour you get from levelling up and some from master ninja trials the rest are from UN trials

You need to do at least 5 to get the armours and you have to do UN1

UN1: Dark Ninja armour (genshin mask)
2 UN trials: Afro with sunglasses
3:nothing
4: Hayabusa armour
5: Hayabusa

I don't need stupid gimmicks to keep playing Ninja Gaiden. I played NG2 on Xbox for far over 600 hours well after I had beaten everything. I do like the sense of progression unlocks and stuff give, but I hate clan battles are grinding the solo-able Ninja Trials for this long is ridiculous.

Yea, You get the silver headpiece part, and his black silver armband piece

Lvl 99 is not so bad if you boost plus you get shiny gold armour at 99

the only tough part is getting that Hayabusa armour and the easiest trials I have left is UN4, UN6, and UN3, and when I mean easy it's easy compared to the rest but still a headache XD

Have you guys found any good i-frame moves with Ayane or Kasumi? I still fight most of the bosses with either Hayabusa or Momiji.

Ayane's XXXXYYY gives some decent i-frames, iirc (whatever the input is for the attack where she spins upside down, kicking with her feet). In general those two rely on speed instead of i-frames, though.

I've been itching to use Momiji, so I'll try grinding her skills in the trials instead. I just wish she and Kasumi had their own chapters. Ayane's were awesome, but their place in the campaign felt like Big Lipped Alligator Moments that hardly had much reasoning behind them. If ever this game gets DLCs, I'm hoping for extra chapters for Momiji and Kasumi <.<

And yeah, Momiji rocks. I still need to finish most of the Mentor trials with her to get her final costume. =P But, her one for beating 25 Trials (the white one) is my favorite, so I'm somewhat content.

Most 360 Y attacks provide some i-frames, but Ayane's isn't optimal like the Scythe's due to the duration, range and recovery.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems Ayane is the worst of the four characters. That doesn't mean she's bad by any means, but she doesn't seem to have as many tools as the other characters.

I feel that way about Momiji myself, but that might just come down to playstyle, really.
