Has someone studied statistics? Because it could help to find groups. Last votes showed more and more that there's a group for VF, another one for BASS/Bayman, another with christie/helena, and so on...

I'm pretty sure that covariance theory or correlation theory could be applicable here. If someone knows it or at least if you know someone who will have fun to play with these bunch of stats, it could be interesting to have some in depth knowledge.

I've taken my fair share of stats courses. For your "groups", you could try setting each character as a variable and plot them vs each other. Looking at your excel file I see you've entered the data by user so you can just grab the two characters and create a simple regression of Bass vs Lisa. Excel has a variety of stata tools you could use for your correlations and etc. You could go and do all your tests of significance for statistical significance of the data if you were feeling bored haha.

I would personally just do something easy like, Out of the players who ranked Bass as a 5, % of those who also ranked Lisa a 5. Etc. You could broaden the categories and such to suit your needs.

Just thought I'd add this for the regression analysis:
In excel 2007 - go to the MS office icon
> excel options > add ins > manage excel add ins > go
>check analysis tool pack, ok and install
- then the data analysis should be ready to select from the data tab
>select the two ranges of data (the character columns) > data analysis > regression
- The R^2 value is basically how much of the variation in one variable is explained by the other so for instance if you had an R^2 value of 0.85, it would mean 85% of the variance in the Y variable is explained by the X variable(or the variation in Bass Scores are explained by Lisa scores vice versa)

So did some things:

Taking everyone who 'liked' a character (Gave score of 4 or 5), then took the average of that pool's decision for each of the other characters to determine the other average liked characters and disliked (score of 2 or 1) characters.

I would SO appreciate that. I can execute it every now and then, however, keeping it going and knowing exactly how to maneuver my fingers/buttons (Dualshock) It's so tough! I want to learn Akira and I definitely need to get that move down! ^-^

Do you guys seriously hate playing as so many characters? That's so weird.

Also, maybe my character selection is odd. According to the correlation list, I almost always like playing characters that I statistically shouldn't.
