What's so ironic about this is that no one complained when a lot of characters had it in vanilla, but when Rachel gets it, its World War 3..... Priceless.
It's because FTs have been nerfed for everyone but Rachel. And when you add that most of her attacks leave her at an advantage, while characters like Hayate are dying of disadvantage. She has what we want everyone to have, but no one else has it except her. What's so ironic about this is that no one complained when a lot of characters had it in vanilla, but when Rachel gets it, its World War 3..... Because I like strong oki that has the grounded player at a disadvantage. I got no safe jumps, no vortex, no high-low unblockables, no left-right unblockables, etc. here, so I gotta settle for guaranteed force techs.
It's advantage. You're doing it wrong.
Why do you support this kind of shenanigans anyway? You prefer the concept of a character that rewards failure?
By asking for nerfs at this point in time, you're effectively saying that the game has no room for growth, no depth. And even if a nerf is actually needed, you can't do a meaningful change without having explored any possible counters and/or the relative balance compared to the other top characters. It takes months, even years to properly figure that stuff out.MikeZ said:You can't ask for well-thought-out changes off day 1, week 1, or mostly even month 1 play...and that's when the game is out and everyone's in the lab.
For what I've tested via setting the computer's recovery status on, you still cannot get out of the stomp. The tech will pop up, but you can still nail it every time despite someone teching and that's after doing 9k or p+k.
AyaneYou can't step her or crush her. She has priority at range, and easy frame advantage up close. She can't be CH on her fast OH, and she can go into her OH from neutral or as part of her high jab string. She gets high damage and a reset from her throws if you try to hold her to death.
She has made all three aspects of the triangle system her bitch, and taken complete control of all subsystems outside of it.
Please, by all means. If you can find a way to combat her, I'm all ears.
Well it wouldn't be right to say something without giving credit to who it was that originally said it.EDIT: I don't think d3v can survive without quoting someone every post.
I think it's less so characters getting that so much as just one character having it in droves and no one else.
If everyone was apparently as ridiculous as Rachel I doubt anyone would be complaining. (I say apparently as I don't have the game yet myself)

I'm going to have a great time when someone posts gameplay of Rachel getting bodied by Kasumi, Sarah, or whomever.
