Honestly I don't understand why. I could be wrong, but my opinion is that too much people are making the connection that this is NG4, when the same developers stated that it's not the case but just a spin-off where they want make something different from the usual (the same fact that Ryu Hayabusa is not the main character in this very different Ninja Gaiden, it's an hint about how they want to make a big distinction between the two things).
Personally I would give to it at least a possibility, waiting for the release of the game or at least more material than the demo, before to state that the game is surely a bad one. In the end the gameplay couldn't be like the main series, however this will not affect in any way the fame or the future development of Ninja Gaiden 4.
Said this I hope that the 30th character is Tengu, but not because I dislike what I've seen until now of Yaiba character (just the opposite).

I'd rather have Rio back from DOAP. She already has a swimsuit set of her own + other costumes from her series. Would be nice to have a casino stage to fight on as well.

I realised something today.... is it just me or does Ein have Hayate's Alpha face? where as Hayate is more rugged and serious looking, Ein has that bishounen look he used to have in the older games and I remember seeing that style on Hayate in the alpha.
Is it possible they just used Hayate's alpha model for Ein?

the black on rachel seems to similiar to her C1, I think the red on tina really pops.
Plus you really appreciate those booty shorts when you do the booty bump or one of tinas many slow multi-part throws. Plus she is texan. Football to them is like their religion.

I know what you mean, but no, the model and textures are the exact same. A while ago, I made portraits of all characters and I took a photo of Hayate and Ein from the same pose in film mode with the same angle and zoom factor. I was examining both on my PC, because I too was interested, if there were any changes. But no, there aren't. They're just copy/paste.

Damn, I know Tina has a tackle attack and tackle catch grab, but she has many costumes already. Rachel barely has any costumes, much less anything sporty or that looks tough. Besides, she rocks black well anyway, has the punt kick 9K, stomps with a punt kick, and could probably go well with a cheerleader Tina as a tag partner. I am also hoping that Rachel's brutish throws go better with the outfit than Tina's wrestling throws.
Now I just need the costume to actually show up in the game...wtf is this problem?
