Okay I'll humor (but not believe) that Zack could hold his ground for maybe more than a few seconds against Ryu but only because he's an alien and no one really knows what he's truly capable of. But...Lisa?

In the Dead or Alive/Ninja Gaiden Universe exist people trained in the use of extraordinary physical and "magical" abilities, able to survive in fight against other people like them and real not human beings, so in super human fights for the survival: until now we have seen part of this category overall shinobi, but also Vigoorian fiend hunters and alchemists (and centenarians curio shop owners XD)
So appear evident like in this universe, talking only from a logical pov for the plot, world champions of fighting competitions like Jann Lee or Bass (and all the others DoA characters), will be surely more strong that an ordinary man, but even surely less strong than such 'abnormal' people. However, being fair should be noticed like the canon seems to say that, if such fighters should fight not for the survival and/or and limiting themselves to use only martial arts, some "ordinary" fighters could be able to stand up to them even ending the match in a draw, see Bayman against Kasumi, Hitomi against Ayane, Rig against Hayate (however Rig could be genetically modified given his relationship with Donovan).
Finally not all these super humans are on the same level: DoA and Ninja Gaiden give the message that Ryu Hayabusa is the more skilled and powerful of them, while there are various hints along the canon of DoA that suggest like Kasumi is superior to Hayate and Ayane and is only her peaceful attitude to mask her real skill (that emerges when the girl removes such limit, see her skill showned against Raidou for killing him, against Ayane for not being stopped from saving Hayate, another time against Rig for saving Hayate that before wasn't able to push to retire his opponent - however it's also true that Rig's purpose was to make arrive Kasumi to the Mist using Hayate like lure, but maybe not necessarily to beat the kunoichi ).

It's pointless to argue. You can toss out logic and cite canon sources all day that put Ryu as the most badass mother-fucker in every regard, hands-down, in the DoA and Ninja Gaiden universe, and honestly in almost every other universe as well. Such as been done numerous times already, in this very thread no less.

So basically, as a Ryu fanboy, you just ignore everything that isn't rabid worship of ryu, all points be damned. Got it.
There literally has been no evidence that Ryus neck (and other bones) wouldn't snap like everyone else's once they got ahold of him. In fact, quite the opposite.

Yeah...no. only ones i think.could hold their own are Bayman Leon, and maybe Christie. Being elite rofessional killers and all. Bayman through technique, Leon through raw power, and Christie...um...through deception, I guess. I can see her attempting to assassinate Ryu, but not a straight fight.
