"We are the guys that created Ninja Gaiden, and we are the guys that destroyed your beloved Ninja Gaiden"
Is this quote serious? What the hell.....

i believe they are saying "yes we see all the 'ninja gaiden is ruined bring back Itagaki' comments here's a game that isn't really Ninja Gaiden though so get off our backs about it" or something like that.

they want the publicity and respect of the name brings but NOT the fans it comes with, which happen to be mostly hack 'n slashers with high standards

not gonna lie it goes back and forth to sounding fun for me, its not NG4 but it'll pass the time.

Just going to keep it extremely brief, here: Team NINJA loves Ninja Gaiden as much as we do. The quote from Tom Lee was taken out of context but even on its own isn't as damning as some are trying to make it out to be. That wasn't bragging about making a shitty Ninja Gaiden game so try not to spin it that way.

As for Yaiba itself, I remain optimistic that it'll be a fun hack and slash action game. It has Ryu in it, but then so did Warriors Orochi 3 and a few other games recently. We didn't hold those games to our lofty standards so we shouldn't do that here. And that Ninja Gaiden Z mode? Looks incredibly fun. I'd buy that game as a standalone.

looks like concept art for NG3 but at least it seems their open to the idea of Hayate joining the series. he got put in the back of the line for not having tits but he is in it and i believe its only a matter of time. heck TN might have already developed a move set for him but he got cut.

id rather try out his :3::h:. it looks a bit silly with the hand chops but i can imagine him doing the roll then just slashing his sword across their neck like a badass

In retrospect I think that shouldn't be a surprise to see Hayate in the early planning for NG3. With DoA5U and NG3RE, Team Ninja showned the will to want increase the interactions between the two series through their characters, so including Kasumi in the NG series and Momiji and Rachel in the DoA one. I'm sure that Hayate's new outfit from Ultimate could be really well one of the ideas about one of the outfit that he would have used in the eventual NG title.

Personally I'm really sure that Hayate will be included in NG4 after the inclusion of the more popular and requested Kasumi (exactly like I'm sure that we will see Irene in DoA6 after the inclusion of the more popular Momiji and Rachel).

It looks really really boring though
It's not as hardcore as the canon Ninja Gaiden or the likes of DMC3, but there's enough fun for me to find within its simplicity. If this were boring, by that logic, classic beat em ups like Streets of Rage would put gamers to sleep.

Actually, I'd be saying that if I hadn't read impressions from a player that began playing with that exact mindset. The hordes are mindless sword fodder. But if you were to go toe to toe with one of the "advanced" zombies or a boss thinking they'll be the same case, you're gonna get bodied. This honestly gives me some hope that this game will be more than just mashing buttons throughout the game.

"It's not Ninja Gaiden, but at the same time it's not Dynasty Warriors." I wish I could link back to the review, but I can't find the link -_-
