@Yuffie Yeah typically the saying makes sense since it reduces the heavy costs of finding a pre-built or direct manufactures. If you know what you are doing, it is effectively the most cost efficient way in the long run. Just buying your own parts that are compatible and then you build it / hiring someone else to do it, to avoid the pre-builds out there that will charge you $500 more.

At the moment, the GPU market is still the worst contender for anyone that's even building or upgrading. You can find a good deal of cards to play modern or older games, but for future proofing on the other hand... well, that can vary and you may not get the best value card at the normal price range it's supposed to be etc.

I paid my cousin to make me a budget PC build 2 years ago and it runs DOA6 and older games just fine.
I haven't tried newer games like Stellar Blade though.

@Yuffie It was on PS3 yeah. So far native 60, removed the grey dark filter the PS3 version had, and goes up to 4K. 120 on PC. Not sure what's going on Switch versions these days to be honest.

Apparently Tales of Xillia was a little weird one to do since it was made with the PS3 in mind in the past. They couldn't recover some stuff along with collaboration DLCs.

Looks like it is coming to Xbox after all. But I think it won't have a physical version like Tales of Grace f iirc.

DOA has the best storyline of any fighter and it isn’t even a close fight. DOA2U’s opening cut scene is better than anything any fighter has ever tried alone.

SC series still hold the crown for the best single player content, but I wouldn't say that means it has the best story... tough to say which has the best written story, or even the best presented story. I always liked SC's, and KOF's Orochi Saga, but DOA has had the best potential with its story, and the way it told its story in CGs from 2U to 4 was awesome

any here ever watch an anime called Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer? it's not great but it was directed by Masami Obari, same guy who directed/designed the Fatal Fury film trilogy, so the whole time you're watching it feels like your seeing an anime take place in an alternate universe South Town lol

true, there was some truly out of left field incest going on, it's one thing when it was happening on the bad guys side with the sibling student council members (but it did lead to a very interesting transformation, looked like a proto darling and the fraxxx type design) but we get into Kyosuke and his sis and....it's not explicit, but signs point to his love for his sis being more than just brotherly :/

Random but I think aside from typical FG videos on YT, I want to start more deep topics like probably the mental psyche of certain characters, I just found out yesterday Anna actually may have Histrionic personality disorder and I want to really do a serious deep dive on stuff like that to humanize them

@Derock I looked into it further and she actually has near all of the symptoms imo, but I think it stems from her father's mistreatment of her. Nina imo seems mentally and emotionally molded due to her father's expectations and having no real chance to be her own person, shes basically just like her father, but a weapon for hire with no real personal motives.

I think that explains her coldness since without contracts to kill, she has no real purpose and I think she loathes that hollow realization. But she's been so conditioned to have assassination be her reality that she can't seem to open up to others like Anna or even her son Steve, but with him its justified since he came from using her DNA without consent, and hes a walking reminder that she was "succeeded" in a way.
