That's the breaks when there's basically nothing to talk about. If I had my way, there'd be tons to talk about. If we didn't get regular gameplay every week we'd get a special character showcase match each week of a random character followed by their changes in DOA5U. Newly added characters being the priority. A few new and returning modes sprinkled here and there throughout the month and finally a pre-launch tourney or playtest in the US somewhere in august.

Well Tecmo will be sharing "new assets" today... Of course it sounds like anything BUT gameplay.

If I had any say in things a lot of the people responsible for this game would be fired. To start with, all the testers, all the networking people, whoever did the music, and of course everyone in marketing.

If diehard fans have nothing to talk about, the game's a surefire bomb. I'm talking DOA5+ level sales.

Don't get too excited, those statics mean very little. Although if they have changed the numbers it might mean they have changed her frames somewhat seeing as speed is (?). I'd kill for an i10 jab.

I don't understand the point of these short vids. Sure it's better than nothing, but it definitely isn't enough actual gameplay footage to get a good idea of what the game is worth. It's like they are afraid of showing the game.
Oh wait ... that might actually be the case, come to think of it. They probably don't want people to notice the flaws before they actually buy it.
That's my theory anyway... you know what they say, hiding is always suspicious. If the game was good they would have no reason to keep a low profile like they currently do.

It's because this is all the BS the casuals bothered them about on twitter. Old survival, team battle BS, blah blah blah. They are showing off the fan service stuff because sadly the competitive group is the minority.

That's what happened. If you look on twitter, the only ones posting gameplay things are grap3, someone called _vituatec_, a few tweets by Raansu and me. I literally had to scroll through about 50+ posts about hairstyles and bikinis the other day. A pretty sad thing.
