Yeah, but there is place for 26 Badges, so maybe 25 for the characters and one for the series logo? Still at least this seems to confirm that the 25 costumes will be for 25 characters.

but as team ninja said, all items will be up for purchase at a later date. thats what im confused about because if you bought deluxe after preorders are over you wouldnt get nyotengu because she is a preorder bonus(unless they make her dlc and you purchase her then) so why would you get a nyotengu costume and pin even if you dont have her? the costume wouldnt be usable. it makes sense for phase 4 bc shes a part of deluxe but not for nyo

What uwu is saying is that the base game will likely have 25 characters and the collectors edition dlc costumes will be for those 25 characters, which will likely not include Phase-4 or Nyotengu because they are bonus characters. The point is valid. If you were to purchase the collectors edition after the game launches, you won’t get the preorder bonus, that being Nyotengu. So if that’s the case, then really you’d only get 24 costumes which would be pointless. I don’t think Nyotengu or Phase-4 are going to be counted as characters in the base roster. I think the game itself will have 25 characters and Nyotengu and Phase-4 will be extra bonuses that don’t count towards the 25 character roster. Time will only tell though.
Phase and Nyo aren’t counted as one of the 25 characters. They’re number 26 and 27. I thought everybody already knew that Phase4 and Nyo weren’t part of the costume pack because that would make no sense. If you read a few comments before uwu’s post, some people still think they aren’t. I am on the same page as you, but others still doubt. I have retorted what you just said several pages ago.. like when they announced the collectors edition originally.

I’m going to politely disagree. Phase-4 is just a Kasumi clone that they likely weren’t intending to make a playable character in 6, but saw an easy way to get people into the deluxe version. The costume pack was probably planned out in advance. I bet it’s just got the main characters in game roster, which I am predicting to not include dlc characters like Nyotengu and Phase-4. Besides, the base roster in 5 was 24, so it seems more likely for them to start the next game with 25 characters on the disc, not 23. Why would you start the next installment with a smaller roster?
Tell me I am wrong all you guys want, but there’s no proof siding with anyone right now. I am just posting my prediction just like everyone else.
