her face got rework again, i don't know how many times. still doesn't feels right

Can we stop with that please, lol?

The faces are the exact same of DOA5 and since the characters were revealed for DOA6 none of them got a "rework". Different lighting and shading tricks you into thinking there are changes.

They simply don't and can't put in the time, money and effort to change faces all the time, lol.
We'll also likely still see navelless men in the final game (I hope I am wrong though!), even though they are by now fully aware of the problem.

I bear early Christmas presents. :) HD and 4K(!!) promotional images. They are however compressed, as always, but better than nothing, right?

HD images:

That is likely the image quality that we can expect from the PS4 version.

Here are some 4K PC screens:

Who was the forumer again that was worried about missing/low res skin texture? Here you can see them very clearly. Since these images are compressed you can expect them to be even more crisper when playing the game.

Jesus man..... Some of you actually want AAA “our budget for this game was 100 million” graphics ennit. It’s too many people screaming “the game looks bad! fix it!” when watching 720p 30fps trailers or are looking at terrible scannings. TN works fast so you’ll see improvements where they need to be done.

DOA6 clearly is the best looking 3D fighter out. And that’s facts. As for the Unforgettable stage, it looks like they’re trying to make it look like it’s all fake, which is why the lighting is unnatural because you’re in a studio museum setting.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Macca Beam. All he's ever done since DOA6's announcement was talk shit about it.

is one of my fav fsd members, throwing shade at another member and possibly disrupting a thread??? i'll be so mad if y'all are just friends cos those are fightin words. :)

just kidding. (kinda)

anyways i wonder if they intentionally made the transition from honoka's face to neck not match intentionally in the new pic? it's a common makeup mistake for hs students so it would be cute if that's a character trait of hers and not a texturing mistake.

It probably is a texturing mistake tbh, but then again DOA6 isn't the first to have it. In Tekken 7 and SC6 and other fighting games I've played, in certain stages with a certain lighting, that neck mesh texture doesn't match up but I think that's because they use a base body model and give them different heads and body size measurements and skin tone but the neck mesh won't completely blend in stages with certain lighting. I'm sure they'll fix it before release tho since they've been discreetly touching up certain details as the months went on

darn... if it's that common in games then honoka isn't that girl who forgets to match her foundation to her neck. haha. it's so akward to see irl. so what about her wig in that pic? is it a scooby-doo or a scooby-don't in terms of volume and thickness mah kasumi lovin legend?

Lol, that's the line where the head model meets the body. ;) Textures and shaders don't completely match. I've seen these obvious lines all over the DOA6 models unfortunately.

Here is another example:

See the line running down from her armpit? When I compared this model to the DOA5 model some time ago I already noticed it. The DOA5 model does not have such an obvious line.
It pains me a bit to admit this, but the character modelling in DOA6 is in general sloppier than in DOA5. Those models were more limited, because they where made for weaker hardware, but they were more polished with more attention to details, like hiding those model part seams.
I guess it is because of the great number of models and costumes that they are including and because of time constraints. Development seems to move pretty fast and in just two months the game is out.

:oops:Her hair could be thicker but I think that's pretty much how her hair is gonna be tbh, which I'm fine with since I'm not really a fan of Honoka.

I hope they'll improve Kasumi's loose hair since she's always had the worst loose hair model in DOA5, they need to give her hair like how they did Leifang and Nyo who both had the best loose hair models in DOA5, their hair didn't look so thin and transparent xD
