can't say i like kasumi, ayane and kokoro's selections as much as back in their itagaki days

bayman's c2 looks so basic bitch it's like he just walked out of the tutorial clothes store in gta. i get that you want everyone to pick the shimbori costume but please

i also want to see brad's alts. the default is giving me too many flashbacks of that furry halloween cosplay and i don't like it

well on the bright side textures are improved across the board. no more paper-like, featureless materials like last time

marie's dress is amazing and could've easily passed as the new default. frilly/fantasy clothing always look good on her and there weren't nearly enough of them in 5
i just hope there's an option to turn the hat off

Visually the game looks great, it's a shame we're getting a lot of recycled content though.

Hey now, we don’t actually know what the final count for costumes is going to be. Every build has had more, and we know the one being demo’d isn’t the build we’ll see at launch.

Hallelujah I finally found pics of all of Lisa's outfits on twitter, The recolors of her outfits are really nice too, Overall I'm happy with the outfits she's got in the game at launch, We'll have to wait and see though If there's extra/hidden outfits and such. Just need to see her deluxe outfit now.

For some of the men they did however choose the absolutely perfect alternate costumes. Like Jann's Bruce Lee outfit or Hayabusa's topless Ninja Gaiden outfit.

I know many like this new Rig outfit, and there's nothing wrong with it really, but I find it so boring:

Where's Rig's Taekwondo gear or some of his more slutty outfits, lol? Well, maybe it's good he's more clothed now, considering the messed up male bodies.

I like it. I in general like that Marie's alternate costumes do reference her darker, gothic lolita side more. Even if they don't fully do, like the sweater skirt thing, it is at least black by default.

Eliot is definitely babe, but Rig caught me off guard. My goodness

Also I love this color for Marie Rose new costume. It’s really pretty and suiting.

Ok, with all the outfits in the game, I picked my favorite, and it's this one *.*

I was worried they were going to botch Tina with DOA6, but they've done a fantastic job with her. That right there is one of my favorite casual outfits Team NINJA has done.

Everybody has its unique aesthetic in terms of casual, like in DOA5. They all make sense.

I'm not really found of Lei's new jacket casual, but it fits her I guess.

Unbelievably disappointing selection on the guys. Especially Diego, it's just so bland. Some of the recolors are really nice (I'm a sucker for the darker colors) but never and a day would I have gone for those over actual outfits, it's just lazy. Especially when SC just lets you customize the colors yourself. They could have given everyone 2-4 costumes and let those costumes be colored to the player's liking and that would have been better.

I have to say that while most of Lisa’s costumes this time are lack luster, I do love these two variations personally:

She looks expensive in this game.

I am disappointed with how TN is presenting Diego. His two costumes choices are a tank with a leather jacket or the tank without the leather jacket... they couldn’t have given him something different. It’s just so lazy. I am disappointed with the lack of costumes and variety for the men, but specifically Diego. He is the new guy and he looks like he has potential, but his costume selection is so boring that he will get stale so quick...

I like the Recolor thing but i hate the Fact that the Guys only have 2 Costumes right now. No LOve for them at all . It bothers me that the Recolors take it own slots ,better would be to chosse the Original Costume and than over a Sidebar the Recolors appear. How long will we have to chosse the Costumes before actually playing =?

DOA has never let me down in terms of costumes, but so far Tekken 7 looks to have more opportunities in the outfit realm.
I just hope they don't start whoring out DLCs again. That'll be a real "fuck you" considering all previous installments besides DOA3 had at LEAST 5 unique outfits for each character.
DOA5 had some great costumes without the need for DLC. I'm hoping this will be the case for DOA6 and everything just needs to be unlocked.

In the DLC era we are in, I hardly doubt we will ever get a complete video game. This time's ended.

Yeah... It would have been awesome but... They only do that for DOAX lol.
This mode was just a revolution for us, but it seems to be only a big disapointment. At least give us a color palette, but even that is too much to ask !

That's not true for any of the previous installments… there isn't even a single male char in DOA4 that has 5 costumes in total. Only 2 chars in DOA4 have 5 or more unique costumes: Tina with 5 (well more like 4.5) and Ayane with 6. The other games don't look much better in that regard either.

5 unique costumes for the female cast is better than the other Vanilla releases (well NiCO might only have 3 who knows…)
2x3 for the guys (and more like 1.5 for Diego and Raidou) is kinda bad, but even that's not the low point… that would be DOA3's US release…

In the end, the costumes count might very well not be final. Phase 4 will not have 2 costumes at launch, given that she will be sold as DLC separately at some point just like Nyo, who has 5 costumes… and I still doubt they won't recolor the XBox pre-order costume for Ryu.
