I can see the new costumes in game but can't seem to find them in the PlayStation store. Looks like another early store fuckup

Dont know if anyone else noticed this but in the latest update they added a toggle feature to make revealing costumes less revealing xD

It basically adds a black ugly bra and short spanx shorts to the costumes. I'm actually here for it tbh, I think it looks cute for Kasumi in her ninja outfits but it looks really bad in costumes that already show a ton of skin xD

it's actually impressive how much they want ppl to hate this game

I personally don't care since I've learned to not expect much from people nowadays and since I like Kasumi and Eliot, but they probably could/should have not added this since now people saying SJWs and all that knock off shit are gonna have yet another "example" of how Sony is censoring games and such.

People on Twitter who saw me post it are either neutral about it like I am or saying it wasn't necessary since the guys weren't touched at all off rip xD

they didn’t even bother to get creative or make the texture look decent in any way... I’m speechless

I don’t see how it’s the end of the world. It’s a small optional feature that implemented for tournaments. They want the game to get more exposure, but aren’t allowed to be at big name tournaments, such as Exo, because of over sexualization. Now games like Soulcalibur don’t get the same treatment, which is crap, but that’s neither here nor there. They have their solution. It does feel like they care more about the competitive and tournament scene for DOA6 than they do the casual gamers and core fans.

It's not the end of the world to rational people. But, it's always the irrational people that flood any and all online forums and social media with outrage, making it unbearable to even browse anywhere.

If they were going to poke the bear, at least not have it look stupid. lol

Can't believe they did this...
But this could end up being rewarding at the end. Maybe some people will realise how silly it is that DOA is banned when some other games are not. Let's see it as a protest action from TN. Let's embrace it.

This shit looks fucking terrible, poor Tina. I appreciate Tina's tiddies so what was the point of this? lol.

What's the point of adding the bra in the first place then lol. It's like TN is asking themselves to get buried deep. People will use this as a scapegoat and giving people a field day war advantage over TN mistakes, like how in the world can you defend KT/TN from this? I certainly wouldn't be surprised if certain article sites wri- oh shit nevermind:

Hahahhah it looks so bad though, so out of place.

Imagine having to look at that low poly shit ruining the somewhat highly detailed costumes that were pretty tame to begin with every time you watch a tournament from now on, wtf are they smoking over at tn

  • Season Pass costing more than premium version of the game *CHECK*
  • Screw up nearly every media interview you can *CHECK*
  • No individual option for buying costumes on Steam & PSN *CHECK*
  • Release AND Split DLC Pack with recolors/duplicate costumes, price it with full price *CHECK*
  • Re-using old assets from previous game(s) *CHECK*
  • Ruining perfectly fine costumes with low poly black rubber shit *CHECK*

WHO THE FUCK IS RUNNING THIS SHIT LOL

The only tournament I can see using that feature is probably EVO (lololol) because Core Values. Still what's the point? how does adding a black line/strap make the situation any better? why in the world did TN take the time to add such a useless feature (with each individual character) burning up all that time instead of using that time for something to improve the game?

In my opinion, a black strap over the chest and thighs is not the way to go because that looks terrible.

I remember when ESPN was broadcasting the EVO Finals (or something) for Street Fighter V, one Japanese player was using R.Mika's default costume. He was asked to change to another costume because it showed a lot of skin.

The problem isn’t the censorship itself, the problem is that it’s ugly as hell lol. They could have made it cute! Give miniskirts some black shorts underneath and maybe some fishnets or something over bras and bikini tops. What we got looks like the texture warping that happens when I try to put a large black square on my character in Soul Calibur 6.

The problem for me is ... their priorities. There is a huge bunch of graphical issues in this game and after two months, they fixed almost nothing ... hell, even neck seams are still there.

And now they used the team to add this? ... then what was the point changing legacy costumes to just alternative costumes?

Almost everything about this game direction makes no sense
